More and more my heart breaks for the things humans are doing / have done. Most of it I cannot do much about. I was watching a video (Jason A, I have seen him mentioned on here, too) and people want to play God, or to be free from God, and others are looking for what holds all things together, but they refuse to look to Him who holds all together. I am so ready to go Home.

I sincerely hope that is fake news. I SINCERELY hope so. Jesus said something like that it is better for a man to be thrown into the sea tied to a millstone on Judgement Day, if he caused a child to stumble. How much more furious will Jesus be when not only do we slaughter innocent children, we use their parts. We are approaching the Moral Event Horizon. Once an object passes a black hole's event horizon, it cannot escape, there is no turning back. We are about to reach the point of no return- if we haven't already crossed it.

We need to be very careful here -- some news sites like to stretch the truth......
In April 2015, the quack web site Natural News rebeat the drum of a several-year-old contoversy by publishing a misleading article (which was republished by a number of other equally disreputable web sites) holding that major food companies such as Pepsico sell products “manufactured using the tissue of aborted human babies”:
"neither Pepsi nor any other U.S. food company is actually manufacturing or selling any consumable products “that are actually made using the cell tissue of unborn babies that were murdered through abortion."
Here is some facts.... Senomyx is a U.S.-based biotechnology company focused on “discovering and developing innovative flavor ingredients for the food, beverage, and ingredient supply industries,” primarily additives that amplify certain flavors and smells in foods.
The organization Children of God for Life back in March 2011, which maintained that Senomyx used HEK 293 in its flavor ingredient development efforts....
Basically, which rolled into a HE SAID / She Said argument
With no definite proof one way or another......
Any company which had used Senomyx as a partner to test some of their newer products in production "for taste" -- Got smeared with accusation ..... such as Nestle, Campbell’s Soup, Kraft Foods, and PepsiCo.............

Ahhh, then there is hope the article is not true, kjs? Please, Lord, let it be fake news!

I vividly remember this and I had to stop drinking PepsiCo products because of it. At least as far as Pepsi is concerned, I believe it was true.
God will not be mocked.

Based on the information I have seen so far ....
The group Children of God for Life made a accusation against Senomyx back in March 2011.
The accusation came about by because of something found in a research paper sponsored by Senomyx back in 2002.
Neither the accusation (nor any news agency which reported the story) has been able to link to the research paper to identify the "something"....
The accusation is over six years old. The paper supposedly proving the claim is over 17 years old.
Nestle, Campbell’s Soup, Kraft Foods, and PepsiCo are simply companies who used Senomyx to verify if a change to their various products would improve taste. I believe for PepsiCo, it was for a new flavor of their diet drink (ie made without sugar).
IF (and this is a mighty big if) Senomyx indeed in 2002 researched some form of using of "HEK 293" in it's testing .... that is a LONG ways from showing these companies (Nestle, Campbell’s Soup, Kraft Foods, and PepsiCo) are actually made using the cell tissue of unborn babies.... which is what the title of the article contends.
Hey, I am by no means defending Senomyx --- if they did in fact use stem cells (even partially) taken from unborn babies --- that is indeed disgusting.
But proving companies (Nestle, Campbell’s Soup, Kraft Foods, and PepsiCo) that are loosely linked to this company -- TO suddenly the companies using cell tissues of unborn babies is a HUGE leap of logic; and represents nothing more than what we call now-days --- "CLICK-BAIT" --- meaning saying something so outrageous that people just have to click to link to see if it be true.

One thing about this, and a similar claim made about medical vaccines using fetal tissue, is to think--WHY would they do that, when a similar thing made from animals would have the same result?

Well, even though this particular episode is probably fake, it doesn't stop me from saying that we have probably crossed the Moral Event Horizon/Point of No Return. I think what we can learn from this is not the contents of the article; it's the fact that people would lie just to get advertising revenue, using the fact that people have incredibly charged emotions to get it spread. That in itself feels just as bad to me; when the boundary between truth and lies is destroyed, which it might have been, sin runs even more rampant, and the end times grow ever closer.

And yes, I was shocked when I saw that Delaware passed a law to abort babies .....at nine months!. After all this time fighting it is amazing to see that we have reversed all the way.
