First reported as a 4.2, USGS has it as a 4.0, 120 miles south of my house. A very odd location...never saw one hit in southern MA on the coast before, though we get a few small quakes up here in NH every year. We felt a slight rumble, but for those near the epicenter... "At computer when ground started shaking and rumbling, with computer monitor pivoting on stand, indicating both lateral and vertical movement of ground" "This has been the strongest earthquake I've felt in my entire life! I was in bed when everything started shaking sooo strong and I ran to the living room just in case we had to leave the house. It lasted like 15 seconds! Lord have mercy!" earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/us7000cc4d/executive M 4.0 - 9 km SSW of Bliss Corner, Massachusetts IV DYFI Time 2020-11-08 09:10:07 (UTC-05:00) Location 41.526°N 70.966°W Depth 15.1 km

I grew up in RI right on the Attleboro, MA line and it is very unusual for that area. I have sisters and nephews and nieces living in RI & MA, I'll have to check in with them to see what they experienced. My sisters are 74 & 66 and I bet this is their fist experience with a quake. I've felt 3, all in different locations. Pretty wild for New England. GO SOX!
