fitz, is Dutchsinse predicting a big one on the New Madrid fault? No. Again, he just said that IF we see bigger earthquakes moving eastward, THEN we should be watchful in New Madrid. Having said that, I think most everyone is predicting a big earthquake at New Madrid at some point. The last big one there rang the Liberty Bell in Philly! 2 of them actually, both massive... one in 1811 & one in 1812.

bernie , I live on the New Madrid fault. Locally they have been saying we are long over due for a massive quake. Locally there is a lot of talk. The 6. Quakes in California in July sparked a lot of debate. We have been hearing booms. Historical documentation recorded people hearing booms prior to the 1811-1812 quakes. We have been hearing the booms for a few years now. Some want to say the booms are the result of fracking taking place here. In the last few years (mainly since the Rev. 12 Sign) it seems the mini quakes have increased in number.

It isn't all about the BIG quakes. It's also about where they are occurring...in places we rarely or never see them. Folks in Arkansas aren't used to this. There was also a 2.6 in Bonne Terre, MO yesterday...keep an eye on the middle of the country as much as you do the west coast. M 3.7 - 19km SSE of Gassville, Arkansas earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/nm60286226/executive Time 2019-09-12 06:42:22 (UTC) Location 36.127°N 92.411°W Depth 18.3 km
