And that there is the 17th 7.0+ EQ this year. More than double last years total. Birth pangs!

On 11/11/18, the earth "rang like a bell". Seismic waves reverberated around the globe at :17 second intervals for about 20 minutes. Scientists are baffled. They think the origin was Mayotte and may have been caused by a new volcano that is forming offshore. Remember Mayotte? Little island off the west coast of Africa, near Madagascar? An earthquake swarm hit this island unceasingly earlier this year (spring and summer) generating several large earthquakes and dozens of smaller ones over the span of a few months. Though the swarm has subsided, they continue to get a quake every few weeks. Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that the earthquakes being reported are much larger than the magnitudes being assigned. Once again, an M4.7 has been reported tonight, but reading the testimonies posted on EMSC by residents of the island, you'd swear this must have been a 6+. Keep an eye on Mayotte. www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Testimonies/comments.php?id=735789 Magnitude mb 4.7 Region MAYOTTE REGION Date time 2018-12-29 23:22:27.6 UTC Location 12.86 S ; 45.46 E Depth 2 km

Birth pangs increasing? This is just one of the indicators Jesus gives us in Matthew 24, but it's probably the easiest one to track now that we have the technology to document the evidence.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Total earthquakes year over year past 7 years (source EMSC; all magnitudes; globally)
2011 - 24,237
2012 - 32,941
2013 - 36,180
2014 - 42,343
2015 - 39,574
2016 - 49,830
2017 - 53,465
2018 - 75,491
Is the trend demonstrable going back further?
2005 - 9,814
2010 - 17,539
2004 is as far back as EMSC has data available. I have to believe that earthquake monitoring by 2005 was every bit as good as it is today, so I think the numbers are probably pretty accurate.
Startling, isn't it? The jump in numbers from 2017 to 2018 is incredible. Honestly, I expected to see an increase year over year, but was shocked at what the searches revealed.

wow, that's amazing. It's truly about time to go Home.
If we are still here at the end of 2019, just imagine what the numbers could be!

There were actually 3 - 6+ earthquakes today. The one not shown by either USGS and EMSC was a 6.2 in China per Dutchsinse as reported by Geonet in NZ. Not surprising. These agencies simply don't report all the earthquakes, for whatever reason, even the big ones.
3 6+ EQ's in one day is pretty remarkable. The birth pangs continue to intensify.
