Basically all main prophetic signs, or markers, for this year, have one thing in common - they are about Israel. One wonders what are the implications for the rapture because of it.
A quick recap:
- String of jubilees from 1517 to 1967, involving the change of rulers of Jerusalem, ending with current jubilee in 2017.
- Both 70 years completed and 70th year started, a standard length of Biblical generation, from 1947/48 to 2017.
- 120 years, a judgment call, from Zionist congress in 1897 to 2017.
- Syrian, Iranian, Russian etc coalition developing against Israel, pointing to what seems like fulfulling of Gog Magog prophecy.
- This year being Jewish year 5777, a number that translates as a "perfect completion of an age of grace". This suggests end of a Church age, but it's communicated to Jewish nation.
- Revelation 12 sign in September, as I understand it, also a sign for Israel and not for the Church. I mean, one of the viable interpretations of the sign is that it's about Israel and 144.000 sealed Jews who are saved from wrath, so when we couple that with dominance of all other signs which are about Israel, it could be confirmation that the sign in September is about Israel too. And this sign, by the way, seems to me too "brainy", too logical, too reasonable, too "connect the dots" to be about something so joyful and out-of-wordly as the rapture of the Church. On the other hand, logical character of the sign does fit with the Jewish nation. And Jews do require a sign (1 Corinthians 1:22).
- Even Donald Trump, who got inaugurated on the day he was 7 decades, 7 months and 7 days old, being a loud carnal Trump and having other interesting Biblical "coincidences", basically seems to be a convert Jew in disguise. No need to go about it at length here, but his daugther is convert to Orthodox Judaism, his sons are married to Jewish women, he is surrounded with predominantly Jewish advisors and money men, both of his parents died in Jewish-named hospital (Jewish Medical Center), I don't know if he ever, even once, personally and publicly, from his lips, proclaimed his faith in finished work of Jesus Christ... Clues go on and on.
As a sidenote, there's a mini scandal currently about Trump's daughter sitting as a representative of USA in recent G20 meeting, the highest public meeting of world powers, replacing president for a time. It's an interesting symbolic picture. Not only has she turned her back from Jesus Christ, she converted to Orthodox Judaism, which is hostile towards Jesus, and she even has a new name to celebrate it - Yeal Kushner (check it out, it's even on wikipedia). And is married to a person who owns property on an address with mark of the beast number. So, who was really sitting at the table representing USA? Person who deceivingly presents herself in public by not disclosing her true new name, who turned her back from Jesus, who joined group that hates Jesus, who is married to a man marked wth number of the beast. It's almost a textbook example of satan's way in orchestrating things. Show little, hide much more, twist, deceive, mock.
Anyway, every main prophetic thing about 2017, it seems rather clear, points to Israel. And Israel is at the door of the wrath, and is currently guided by satan.
So, where's the rapture of the Church in all of this?
Maybe other members on this forum could add their understanding of this juxtaposition.
I don't see rapture connected to September sign. It could be, I certainly don't know. But right now I don't see it. Especially with knowing that many accepted rituals about Feast of Trumpets are not described in the Bible, but are Jewish custom traditions. Basically similar to what Catholic Church does by adding it's own traditions to the Word of God. What is the value of those things really?
For example, there is not even a hint of a command in the Bible for 100 trumpet sounds to be played (and by the way, Biblicaly, trumpets are to be blown on every new moon - Numbers 10:10). If a month at the start of the Feast of Trumpets marks a new year, which is yet another tradition, those trumpets are not last but first since they happen at the beginning of the new year. There is no description in the Bible that Feast of Trumpets is a two day event (interestingly, new moons are sometimes one sometimes two days, in my understanding, since that depends on the moon phases, so two-day window cannot be set in advance.) There is no Biblical reasoning, as I am aware of, that the feast is to be reffered as "no one knows the day or the hour". In fact, that doesn't make a lot of sense if it's about seeing new moon, since every new moon is a type of a feast and it is about "no one knowing the day or the hour" (Numbers 10:10, Numbers 28:11). This is just somewhat elevated new moon feast that happens every month. In fact, it's not even named in the Bible. Name "Feast of Trumpets" is a deduction, while, for example, Day of Atonement is named as such. Finally, the feast itself is described in the Bible as a rememberance, a memorial (Leviticus 23:23). A memorial to what? To harvest of that year, to summer.
All in all, a lot about current Feast of Trumpets is an added tradition which is often opposite to the character of what God proclaimed about that Feast, and feasts in general. As far as we know, God could be detesting those added traditions, not applauding them.
So, is the greatest joyful moment up until this time in history, when Jesus Christ is going to take His bride He loves so much, connected to a date which is twisted from it's original state in rather dubious ways, by a group which is currently lead by satan?
It doesn't seem so to me. But of course, I don't know.
I think that timing of the rapture of the Church could very well be hidden from being obvious, just like rapture is somewhat hidden in the Bible, a mystery. And that it's distinct from signs for Israel. A special event on it's own. Yet still, we are promised to not be in the dark. So, if I have to guess, taking all into account, I think rapture happens before September this year. I think this is good time to dial up anticipation on Jesus' coming for His possession any moment now.
