Ah, well I thought somebody meant that the name Magog had been used. I would call this more of the Tubal region than Magog, but there was a lengthy scholarly article I read about it before I found Unsealed, and I'm not sure if I could find that article again.

Magog is shown as Kazakhstan, which is where the satellite was launched from.

The website that has the map posted is, i believe, not the one where I saw it:

its the map that has Rosh colored RED.

Hence, my conclusion that the satellite was launched from Magog.
