Thought we might start a prayer thread, simply naming those we are each praying for - particularly that in the time left they might come to know Christ and that we might be ready, given opportunities and their hearts might receive.

Shalom and thank you for your prayers! While all 4 of my children gave their lives to Christ and made the choice to be baptized, my 3 oldest have fallen away to one degree or another. While God has used this to draw me closer to Him, and my husband and I closer to one another - it is heartbreaking. Please pray that my husband and I do God's will and are a constant light to our kids, and that God softens their hearts and reveals Himself to each of them in a mighty way - that our precious prodigals would come home!
Hannah - 21 and won't admit where she stands regarding her faith; but trying to "marry" some sort of faith with very ungodly choices and lifestyle.
Emma - 18 and now claims a faith not consistent with the Word, but steeped in secular humanism and moral ambiguity (sadly, like much of the church these days).
Caleb - 16 and has denounced his faith, says he's an "open-minded atheist"; and, very recently, disclosed he believes he is a girl (we love him, but will not support this delusion). He is under heavy spiritual attack.
Please also pray for our youngest, Grace - 10, that the Lord will continue to shield and protect her heart and mind from the spiritual warfare going on in our home. She loves Jesus with all her heart and often speaks with spiritual wisdom that blows my mind; but she also loves her siblings and is sensitive to the fact that they are struggling (she does not know the details of any of their individual struggles/choices).

Wow, JameyK! I'm sorry to hear of your struggles, and it reminds me of so much that is going on in my own extended family. Praying for you and your kids right now.

Thank you both! I am definitely at the "end of myself"; but am praising God in this storm, and leaning on His promises! He has already used all of this as a huge wake-up call to me, and I am eternally thankful for that. I am believing that this test and trial will become a beautiful testimony!

Amen Jameyk. Welcome and thank you for your trust. I am right there with you that our call is to continue to praise in the storm! He is a good, good father....and Other than praise all we can continue to do is to show people how much he loves us but that he is a holy God.
