As you by now well know, Jupiter is a key part of the upcoming Revelation 12 Sign and seems to represent both Christ and the Church as the "male child" of Revelation 12:5. Regardless of rapture timing, most futurists recognize that only 69 of Daniel's 70 weeks of years have already been fulfilled and a final 70th week has not yet commenced. We are currently in a dispensational "pause" - frequently called the Church Age or the Age of Grace.
Jupiter's similarities to Christ have been well noted: it is the largest planet in the solar system, hence being called the "king planet" and representing the chief deity or the chief deity's son in a variety of ancient pantheons. It is also covered in stripes just as Christ was after His flogging ("by His stripes we are healed") and has a prominent "wound" called the Great Red Spot that mirrors Jesus' own spear wound. On top of all that, Jupiter takes all the blows from comets and asteroids that would otherwise hit earth (think Christ's atonement and taking the blows for us) and even more - Jupiter was recently photographed by NASA, which revealed that the planet is crowned with a magnificent glowing halo:
Furthermore, one of our forum members noticed that Jupiter's orbital period mirrors the biblical sabbatical and jubilee cycles and 2017 is the end of a Jupiter Jubilee.
Now it gets even more chilling. It was well known that Jupiter had 67 moons, but it was just announced this month that astronomers have positively identified two more. That means Jupiter has exactly 69 known moons and the discovery was made just a few short months before Daniel's 70th Week might begin. In other words, we are currently living in the pause at the end of the 69 weeks and astronomers discover that the planet that represents the sin atoning Christ (see Daniel 9:24 for an interesting connection) has 69 moons just months before the final week might begin.
