I am a firm believer that all “SAVED” individuals are drawn to Jesus’ completed work by the Holy Spirit. I also firmly believe they must put their full trust in Jesus Christ and WHAT He accomplished for them (in other words not having any trust in their own Good Deeds).
Here is the deal, I am becoming more and more convinced that things are really going to be changing radically in a few months – possibly even the rapture.
I have several friends and love ones – that I believe are NOT SAVED.
Some I know are not saved, since they say they do not believe in God.
Some I suspect are not saved, since they go to church and feel they are not that bad of a person, but I have never heard them say they believe in Jesus Christ Finished Work for their salvation.
Because I want to see them saved; I been praying along the lines of God soften their heart to be open to the gospel. Open their ears and minds to truly hear and understand the Gospel. Holy Spirit draw them to you!
Any thoughts and suggestions welcome….

kjs -
what about several of us that feel the same way about certain people - sign up on here and then we can private message with the names - and compile a list that we can come into agreement on and pray for 'Paul-like conversions' in their lives?
I have people and we know ...

I think you are praying along the right lines, kjs. I don't see any scripture that clearly tells us to specifically pray for a specific person's salvation, although there is none that tells us not to, either. My dad pointed this out years ago. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
However, I can say I have been burdened to pray for specific people, and famous godly men such as George Mueller have reported the same.
Pray along the lines of what you have been, and as TS said, let's band together for them.
I have some names to add:
My brother, Nat My sisters, Meg and Phoebe My cousin, Ron My coworker, Chris, in particular--I have been specifically dealing with him for 2 years--and other coworkers, Jerry, Jesus (Hay-soos), and Phil My friend, David

CAn I move personal lists to private? I've got family on the site. I copied and pasted ya'll onto mine. We can keep them together as we pray over them all. Anybody who's worried about the salvation of someone, just say "I am". I'll add your name to the private message. Then you can post on it. Whatif, your name is already there just in case. I know you are a prayer for others.

Kjs, I'll pray for each of them.
I find myself praying:
1. That stubborn hearts would be made humble (necessary to come to repentance and accept the Gospel).
2. That people would recognize the truth of Scripture and their personal need for forgiveness.
3. That God would give them a saving faith (i.e. bring them to a saving knowledge of the truth).
4. That God would get them ready for the rapture.

Ahhh! I read the private message first and then this thread, so now I've got the whole picture! Wonderful idea, truthseeker--and I definitely have some names to add to the list!

One thing that I think is necessary is to pray for the person to come to hate their sin. If you don't hate your sin, you don't see your need to be saved.
