Everyone ultimately has to make a decision: will they trust themselves and their understanding or will they trust God and His. This choice isn't just for unbelievers, but for those who call themselves "Christian", as well. For very, very soon those who have placed their faith in themselves and their works and abilities will discover whether that was a wise or foolish decision. As for me, I have nothing to boast or glory in save the Cross of Christ. I'm staking everything - my life, my soul, and my future on Jesus Christ and Him alone. I'm taking the gamble that His blood and righteousness are sufficient for me and that trusting in anything else, including my works, will soil my spotless garments. I believe He freely gave me these garments of His own volition and grace and there is nothing I can do to receive them or maintain their purity save accept them through faith alone. These garments have been made white in the blood of the Lamb. Not by my blood nor by my works nor by anything that is mine - only by my Savior.

Humbled, Gary. Again, by His Sacrifice - and from your visual reminder... Helps puts it right Front and Center amidst our daily activities.

Two Praying Men Luke 18 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and prayed about himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people: extortionists, unrighteous people, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of everything I get.’ 13 The tax collector, however, stood far off and would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, be merciful to me, sinner that I am!’ 14 I tell you that this man went down to his home justified rather than the Pharisee. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Workers in the Vineyard Matthew 20 9 When those hired about five o’clock came, each received a full day’s pay. 10 And when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more. But each one also received the standard wage…..13 And the landowner replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am not treating you unfairly. Didn’t you agree with me to work for the standard wage? 14 Take what is yours and go. I want to give to this last man the same as I gave to you. 15 Am I not permitted to do what I want with what belongs to me? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last.”
When I get alone and really examine my life and actions, I have to conclude that I fail miserably. Though I am overwhelmed with the LOVE and GRACE God has shown me –and I truly want to respond and give back the love His has bestowed upon me. Yet, I have to admit my response in sharing that love with others, never comes close to the ideal.
Some individuals vocally (or written) loudly proclaim that we must be Overcomers, that we must follow His commandments, that we have to do this or do that…..
It brings me down, because I know I just am not measuring up.
BUT then I re-examine the Gospel Message – Jesus Knew I could not measure up – so He did what I could not do and bestows it as a GIFT.
Maybe there are some individuals who are “super Saintly” and they really do not have a problem measuring up…..
BUT as for me …. I simply cling to the PROMISE it was done FOR ME! And Praise the Son of God, for doing what I could not do!

None of us measures up, apart from Christ. "I can do all things through [myself?] which strengtheneth me" ? No. "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

This is all coming under such fierce attack lately. I really need to do a commentary on the letters to the churches in Revelation. Praying for energy and motivation to do it.

My channel has one other video, the first chapter of Ezekiel. We had hoped to continue on with my commentary of Ezekiel, but both of us got very busy with other things.
My friend Jeremiah edited it for me.
