I am currently starting my second day at the hospital. I was supposed to get my gallbladder out yesterday, but I got bumped to today (hopefully). Please pray they get me in soon and everything goes smoothly.
I also need prayers for this ongoing anxiety. It's been two years and nothing seems to help. I was just on one medicine that seemed promising but then it started making me sick. I am so tired of this fight. I am battling some depression, too. There are days when I just want to curl up and sleep til Jesus comes.
Through all of this though I have seen evidence that God is walking through this with me; it just seems like there is no end though and I am getting very discouraged.

Well scratch some of that. I just got bumped from the schedule again. They're sending me home and are going to schedule it as an outpatient surgery.

Natalie, praying for you and your situation. Abba, please grant Natalie comfort, peace, healing, and if you will it, a very quick resolution. If you haven't tried it yet, many people swear by St. John's Wort for anxiety. Even some formal studies back it up, and it's cheap and OTC, balances hormones and brain chemistry, helps with sleep, etc.

Definitely will be praying for you.
Gallbladder paint is no fun. My best friend struggles with gallbladder issues that aren't bad enough to book surgery. If she hadn't changed her diet, she would qualify for surgery.🤦🏼♀️
Sorry to hear about your ongoing anxiety. I know we are supposed to cast our cares on Him but it is easier said than done. Don't worry about having a season of rest right now. The world is chaotic and He knows the stress and despair that it causes those that believe in Him.

Sorry I've been offline for a while. I did get gallbladder surgery scheduled for the 29th of January. They originally had me scheduled the middle of March but was able to rearrange some stuff.

I am home recovering this week. Was sore the first couple days but better now. Pretty tired a lot of the time. But the surgery went smoother and went quicker than they told my husband it was going to take. Now to just take it easy and recover.
