One thing I would recommend for you, Beloved, is to create a document of some kind--whether written in a notebook or typed into an Excel spreadsheet or other such thing, even OneNote or Word, just something to help keep your thoughts organized and with the ability to expand as you gather information--and go verse by verse through the book of Revelation, laying out how you feel the events in the prophecies occur timelinewise and listing the chapter and verse numbers that refer to each event. Then, add what you discover when reading through the book of Daniel. Then, from there, as you read through each of the New Testament books and each of the Old Testament books, add in the verses you discover there. I did this quite some time ago and found myself amazed at all the intricate prophetic connections between the Bible's Old and New Testament books, and it helped me to sort out a great many questions I had about the timing of events and so on. Definitely good advise, write it down, keep a record.

Amen, rt, and we really appreciate your contributions here. None of us have arrived--I agree with everything you just said in the post.

I never been a big fine of OT, other than knowing the big favorite stories and a few Pslmns never got in to it.... This year when I got hit with the Micah 5 verses, I was just floored.... It really snapped into place..... I have been doing better since, yet many are find additional clues from the OT, that are very surprising....
Needless to say things are forming a big picture......

Alright, so I've had this idea bubbling for a while, so I decided to post it. Here goes; everyone drop every single doctrine about prophecy they have. Then, go to Revelation, and make a study of Revelation/Dainel. Pray, study the Greek (a good resource is at lumina.bible.org ), and try to learn prophecy from the Word, not from other's opinions. Rt has done this, and actually inspired me to do this. I am starting mine as soon as I can. Let's see what we can learn from God, eh? Who's with me? Let's see what God can unseal for us. Excellent idea, Beloved. Considering all the scriptures that warn against false prophets (false prophecy teachers) in the last days, all of us should question whether all the well-known "prophecy experts" have it right.

I love it all! Sounds good. Once I learned to always ask the question of the scripture "How does this point to Jesus?", then all the layers of the verses begin to open. From Genesis to Revelation....
