Are we approaching the soon rapture of the church? It seems like all things in this world are speeding up so quickly that we can hardly catch our breath. Every day , something biblically prophetic is happening.
Matthew 24 : 4-8 states:” and Jesus answered them, see that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ and they will lead many astray and you will hear of wars and rumors of wars . See that you are not alarmed for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famine and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. ESV
1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 “ Now concerning” the times and the seasons , brothers”you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying”there is peace and security”, then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness brothers for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of the light , children of the day. We are not of the night or darkness . So then let us not sleep, as others do , but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at the night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another, and build one another up ,just as you are doing. ESV
The passage in Matthew 24 speaks of birth pains while the passage in 1 Thessalonians 5 speaks of labor pains. I believe we are now living in the time frame that the unbelieving world is screaming peace and safety while many believers are in the light and seeing the amazing times that we are experiencing now. I also think Paul , through the direction of the Holy Spirit, was speaking about this season taking place now in this world.
The church age of grace is soon closing as we get closer and closer to the catching away of the bride. We are fast approaching the worst possible time in history, the seven year tribulation spoken in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation.
I also believe that this world is in a particular season of “ in between dispensations”. It is almost like the age of grace is merging right into the tribulation. It’s a transitional time.
Looking at all the news in the world and everything going on, I do not believe it will not slow down. I really feel like the rapture is upon us. We may be at the labor now, but who knows. Only God knows.
We should live in a state of encouragement to one another in love. Us believers live by faith, not fear . We will soon be in glory with Jesus, as He catches us up in the clouds.!!
