Seven Trumpets: Since Revelation 8-9, 11 refers to seven wars and five trumpets are five past wars, then the China-US War is inevitable, uncontrollable and devastating. This war begins as a conventional regional war about Taiwan but quickly expands to a MAD (mutually assured destruction) nuclear war by the Euphrates. Tribulation prophecy is the world's future (Isaiah 42:9).

Close only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades and atom bombs. Keep working for the kingdom and watching. All nations fall and Jesus Christ reigns but before that, Jesus Christ takes His people home. Encourage one another with these words.

End Time Prophecy Is a Pursuit of Truth

Most doctrines of the Bible were settled during the early Church Age. However, End Time prophecy has so many different views. No prophecy teacher has all the right answers. Prophecy is changing with time as we get closer to the end of human rule and beginning of Christ's rule. When once prophecy is fulfilled, then other prophecies can be understood. God gave us His Word because He wants us to know. He gave us the Holy Spirit to reveal the mysteries of prophecy. Then we can better know God, God’s Word, God’s time and God’s plan for our time before the Tribulation.

God’s Time Reveals His Plan for Our Time

I consider myself a student of the Bible, always learning or relearning the many facets of God’s Word. I go to Bible churches that are futurists who believe Revelation 4-22 are future events that occur sequentially within the Tribulation, Millennium and beyond. That is a good starting point but it overlooks some events occurring now before the Tribulation.

Prophecy Is About Time and Events

My personal study began with the Jewish major and minor feast days. The days given to Moses are fulfilled in Jesus Christ and then fulfilled during our time. Seven days of creation reveal 7000 years of human history. Bill Bonnet at Abdicate.net has a great chronology of the Bible that lists verses and explains difficult timing issues. His site combines Jewish holy days with current world history.

Is the United States in the Bible?

YES!!! On Hebcal.com, Thursday, July 4, 1776 occurs on Tzom Tammuz. The 17th of Tammuz is the day of the golden calf. The Babylonians and Romans breach the walls of Jerusalem and it is our Independence Day. Not all world events occur on Jewish holy days but there are over one hundred references to America and world history by symbol, event, date or results of our actions. Answering “no” hides what God is doing now.

A + B = C is a simple algebraic equation. A is America, the current world superpower. B is understanding current and future events that cause all nations to fall during the Tribulation. C is Jesus Christ reigns.

Revelation Is Not in Chronological Order

Revelation was written sequentially (Revelation 1:19) and in a chiastic structure (ABCDEEDCBA) like Leviticus, Matthew and other books of the Bible. Trumpets and bowls seem like they are repeating but are just paired together.

However with Revelation chronology, churches end at the Rapture but seals, trumpets, Tribulation, bowls, Mystery Babylon, Armageddon spiral down to shorter periods all ending at the Second Coming. Revelation describes the 7th seal, bowl, trumpet repeating voices, lightning, thunder, earthquakes, great hail, mountains and islands move (Revelation 8:1, 5, 11:15, 19, 16:17-18, 20-21, Ezekiel 38:19-20, 22). 2 Keys to the Trumpets

There are two keys to the Trumpets: Wormwood and Destroyer.

1) Wormwood

The third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter (Revelation 8:10-11).

Wormwood is a plant and Revelation tells us it is a proper noun. In the Russian language, mugwort or common wormwood is a specific place: Chernobyl, Ukraine. Chernobyl is chornyi (black) and byllia (grass blades or stalks), literally black grass.

On Saturday, April 26, 1986 or the 17th of Nisan during Unleavened Bread Sabbath in the former Soviet Union territory of Ukraine, the Chernobyl nuclear facility became the world’s worst nuclear disaster. After a severe nuclear meltdown, the reactor explodes uranium and plutonium into the sky. It rains down radioactive nuclear waste into the fresh water.

2) Destroyer

They had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon (Revelation 9:11).

The fifth trumpet is the longest description of the trumpets. On one side of the war was a king named Apollyon or Destroyer in English. Apollo was the Greek god of light and sun, truth and prophecy. He was the god of medicine and healing and could cure sickness or bring deadly plagues.

Destroyer is the name of Saddam, son of Hussein, the former dictator of Iraq. Saddam means he who confronts or crushes obstacles or destroyer.

When Saddam’s mother encountered difficulties in her pregnancy, doctors recommended aborting the baby. Instead, she traveled to Baghdad for medical care, staying with Jewish friends. Eventually, a healthy boy was delivered, whom she named Saddam, or “destroyer,” for the pain the pregnancy had caused.

Saddam Hussein was the Destroyer in name and in life. He started the Iran-Iraq War and Iraq War I. He torched the Kuwait oil fields which lasted eight months. Like his namesake Apollo, he was a controlling tyrant over his people and sent plagues of mustard and Sarin chemical weapons against the Kurds and Iranians. During the al-Anfal Campaign, he committed genocide against 180,000 Kurdish Iraqis. He supported terrorist groups against Israel. Found in a literal pit, Saddam was the king, the messenger of Satan.

Iraq breaks off talks with Kuwait on the 9th of Av and war ends on Purim. Iraq War II begins with Dora Farms on Purim. Saddam is a type of Haman. Both were hanged, sons were killed and the nation was judged for persecuting the Jews. Saddam was executed on December 30, 2006 and buried on December 31 or the 10th of Tevet when Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon began the thirty-month siege of Jerusalem (587-586 BC).

Of the first five trumpets that sounded, all five are wars that include issues of chemical or nuclear weapons and American involvement. Every war impacts the nation of Israel. Key dates are on Jewish holy days. The trumpet judgments occur within a 120-year period ending at the Second Coming.

1. World War I   1/3 of battlefield destroyed because of trench warfare, machine gun hail of bullets and fire torch guns (Revelation 8:7).

2. World War II   1/3 of merchant and war ships sank during the Battles for the Atlantic and Pacific. Atomic bombs look like a burning mountain (Revelation 8:8-9).

3. Cold War   1/3 of fresh water poisoned in Europe and Western Asia during the Chernobyl nuclear accident, 1000 ton reactor lid blew up, on fire and fell to earth (Revelation 8:10-11).

4. Iraq War I   1/3 of heavens darkened when Iraq set fire to Kuwait’s 611 oil wells that lasted eight months (Revelation 8:12).

5. Iraq War II   War included “Shock and Awe”, oil trench fires, Geneva Convention, nation building that targets the unsealed military but not infrastructure, electric shock torture, Muslim culture values martyrdom but attacking one’s honor is a fate worse than death, Abu Ghraib torture lasted five months, AH-64D helicopters (Locusts, Horses, Crowns, Men, Women, Lions, Chariots, Iron, Scorpions). Saddam the Destroyer was literally found in a pit (Revelation 9:1-12).

Five Trumpets on Jewish Holy Days

God has a plan for our time. Then He verifies the events using Jewish holy days. It is like seeing the fingerprints of God. Amazing to see God’s World is true again with fulfilled prophecy. Once Scripture is matched to a wars, then lookup key events on Jewish holy days. Following the pattern, three Tribulation wars are future but occur on Jewish holy days.

On Teshuvah (1st of Elul-10th of Tishri), Moses returns to Mt. Sinai to get the second set of tablets (Exodus 34:1, 28). Every year, Jews uses these forty days to repent of their sins against God and humanity in preparation for the high holy days of Trumpets and Atonement. The 3rd-9th of Tishri is the Days of Awe prophetic of the Tribulation. Many end time events occur during the Teshuvah period.

Like most topics, I go through a lot of books and articles to sift through various thoughts and compare them to the Word. Pastor Ervin Baxter was a prophecy teacher that understood the United Kingdom/United States is the lion with eagle’s wings and their involvement with the seals and trumpets. However, I do not agree with the Post-Tribulation Rapture.

The Closer We Get to the Tribulation, the Clearer the Picture becomes.

We are at the end of the Church Age and can see into the Tribulation. It is so close. Four horses are on the run (apostasy, communism, capitalism, Islam) and five trumpets have sounded (World War I & II, Cold War, Iraq War I & II). So the Rapture is converging near the 6th trumpet known as World War III.

The Rapture is not just a nice sunny day when Jesus returns. God grabs those in Christ out, removes the Holy Spirit and sets the countdown clock for seven years. Then all Hell breaks loose on earth because there is no one restraining the world from its evil again one another and rebellion against God. The last act of the Church Age is the Rapture. The first war of the Tribulation is World War III when China, United States and India fall so the globalists take over in preparation for the Antichrist.
