I recall back in the '90s he was the top suspect. There was a book written on it by Messianic Jew Tim Cohen called The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea.

I always supposed that the Antichrist would be around 30 years, mimicking the Lord. But of course, that's not written anywhere in the Bible. The other question is, how much influence King Charles actually has. Would anyone be willing to make him an actual ruler?
On the other hand, I only recently learned that a almost a third of the world's population is part of the Commonwealth, of which he is the head, which perhaps could make him more important than we give him credit for.
I did find it interesting to find out that he had a red dragon on his coat of arms as Prince of Wales right above the words "I serve" ("ich dien" in German). Interestingly, Prince William adopted a new coat of arms where this is no longer the case.
Some of the other reasons given seem a lot weaker, like Wales being part of the Roman Empire.
