About a month or so ago, my son (Samuel) and I were having a conversation. He was saying how he doesn't really have friends to talk about "God stuff" with. His best friend (who is also his cousin) doesn't believe in God. He has another friend that does, and they've talked some, but he's a few years younger.
So, I sent a message to a college student at our church to see if he'd get together some time with my son as he could use someone to talk to stuff about. He's a real solid kid, and Samuel looks up to him already. He sent me back a message that he had been praying for Sam and wanted to get together with him but wasn't sure how to go about it. He said that when he was that age someone did the same for him and it really meant a lot to him.
They have gotten together several times, playing frisbee golf and going out to eat afterwards. It's meant a lot to Samuel. Just tonight he mentioned that the college kid is going to get snapchat so they can do Bible studies together, especially when he heads back to college. I have so enjoyed seeing God work in my son's life the past few years.

Last night they started Bible study together. I guess they are doing it through Instagram. I don't know how some of this stuff works. 😊. He was so excited for them to hang out together. They are studying Philippians.
He also applied to Target and also is real close to getting his driver's license. So you guys can pray for him about that. (He's passed the driver's test, just needs enough time and driving hours.)

That is great news. Will be praying for him. That is great that they will be studying together.
Getting a driver's license is a life step my son is also undergoing this September. He finished his driver's training and has to wait until mid September because he has to have his learners for a year before getting his next step license. 😁
