What do other people think that although there is progress in other Bible prophecy areas there doesn't seem to be much progress in restoring the Levitical choir for the Third Temple? There is some activity, including on Youtube, with a group Leviim Teta productions but they so far only sing acapella and not with any musical instruments. A group in Israel House of Harrari has made some of the Levitical choir instruments, especially the harps and lyres but not any brass cymbals that I'm aware of. I also haven't seen the Leviim Levite group using any of these musical instruments so far in their productions. Any thoughts on why there isn't more progress in more fully restoring the Levitical choir when it seems some of the next steps wouldn't be that difficult?

bible9fulfill7seek hello and welcome. Unfortunately no thoughts on it. As you note there is progress in restoring the temple and its furnishings but of a choir I am not aware. Of initial thought here is that the Sanhedrin have apparently indicated they dont need the actual temple to resume sacrifice, so perhaps it is not necessary to have the full musical procession to fulfill what is thought to be satisfying to God. If we consider that thought a bit further, havent the Jewish leaders omitted much of what God requires and substituted for what they believe to be adequate? Also is there a specific biblical reference you can cite for the necessity of the Levitical choir? Thank you!

Hi Mike, In summary, first of all, I do believe it's necessary to have a Levitical choir to fulfill Bible prophecy as part of the biblical last days restoration of Israel. There is some progress also in restoring the Levitical choir but not as much as I and some other people would like. One group that are making an effort to restore the Levitical choir and as far as I know are all of Levitical background are the HaLeviim choir associated with Teta Productions of Israel as on their Youtube account. There are about 5 men and they do sing together in Israel, some Jewish religious numbers and some more secular (at Jewish weddings in Israel mostly). Part of the writing on the back of some of their matching uniforms is the Hebrew for HaLeviim (the Levites).
I believe I have heard that the Sanhedrin has said they don't need a temple to resume sacrifice but I have however definitely heard the Sanhedrin say that they do want or require a temple to conduct the sacrifices soon after the initial sacrifices. How much are you aware that Rabbi Yisrael Ariel and Rabbi Chaim Richman are two members of the partly re-established Sanhedrin and they are also most certainly supportive and outspoken of the need to re-establish the animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount in the 3rd temple (as they call it). You can see or hear much of the the desire and efforts of the Temple Institute to rebuild the Jewish Temple on their web site by putting The Temple Institute on Google or to check out their Youtube account. They are still quite active and produced a new short video at the Jewish fast day of the 9th of Av a couple days that I saw in their Facebook account.
Mike, it's true that some Jewish leaders have omitted much or what God requires and substituted other things they believe to be adequate such as neglecting our Lord Jesus Christ once and for all sacrificing Himself and His shed blood to take away our sins as in Hebrews 10 John 1:29 but it is more the liberal Jews or at least Jews other than the Jewish temple groups and individuals that have totally substituted other things like giving money for the more biblical requirement of the substitutionary shedding of blood for atonement from and especially forgiveness from God as in Leviticus 1-7 and Hebrews 9:22. However, Jewish Temple groups like The Temple Institute, The Temple Mount Faithful, much of the Sanhedrin and the umbrella group United Movement for Establishing the Temple led by Rabbi Shimshon Elboim definitely still believe in the need for substitutionary sacrifice including of blood to cover or pay for our sins.
About a specific reference for the necessity of a Levitical choir, there may not be as obvious a reference for the need for a Levitical choir in the tribulation temple but there are scripture references for a literal Jewish temple in the tribulation such as Daniel 9:27 quoted by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 24:15, and also 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 and Revelation 11:1-2. There are many other specific Bible references for a literal rebuilt Jewish Temple in the actual Millennial or Messianic Kingdom where Messiah Jesus will rule the world for a thousand years from Jerusalem such as Isaiah 2, Zechariah 14, Acts 15 with the tabernacle of David quoted from Amos 9 and of course Ezekiel 40 - 48 among others. There are a couple specific biblical references I can cite for the necessity of the Levitical choir in the Millennial Kingdom Temple (that I believe the tribulation Temple will be a preparation for and which these current Jewish Temple groups think the temple they are building right away is for (the Millennial or Messianic Kingdom rather than than the tribulation). A couple references in scripture for the necessity of reestablishing the Levites in general for the Messianic Kingdom are in Malachi 3:1-6 and Isaiah 66:18-21. Some specific biblical references I can cite for the necessity of the restored Levitical choir in the Millennial or Messianic Kingdom after Jesus' second coming from heaven to heaven (as opposed to the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church to the air) are in Ezekiel 40-48 but I think that these verses imply the need for a Levitical choir in the tribulation temple in preparation for the Millennial or Messianic Kingdom Temple. Specifically these scripture references for a future Levitical choir at least in the Millennial Kingdom Temple are: Ezekiel 40:44-47, 44:9-14, 45:5, 48:10-15. Mike, although I believe Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and the three hours of darkness in which He paid the spiritual price for our sins in bearing God the Father's wrath for our sins and the Father separating from Jesus in those three hours, I believe there is still room in the scriptures literally in context in part of the restoration of Israel for a future physical temple of the Lord in the Millennial Kingdom (but not in the eternal Kingdom of God) for animal sacrifices to cover sins of the mortal people then and as an object less and reminder of Messiah Jesus' one sacrifice of Himself to take away all sins of all people of all time and ages especially that trust in Him as our personal Lord and Saviour. What do you or anyone else think of these thoughts?

bible9fulfill7seek thanks for the reply. I think one thing stands out to me here as seeing things from a differing view. I see the believing church as the Levitical priesthood not those following a false religion (rabbinic Judaism), but those in the kingdom will be those in the tribulation for some span of time. I do not see a pre-trib rapture of the church, but a pre-wrath/late-trib or even post-trib. That goes against the grain of most on this site. I have said this for a few years now, I hope the pre-trib view is right and the other are wrong however, if that is not the case then we should review the other views, especially in light of where we are right now today. Since I havent conversed with you before I do not know your stance and length of studies on these topics, I wish to not offend or divide over a topic like this, but would like to explore it further with you (and others as they feel to participate) as another possibility or perhaps its not. I do have similar sentiment regarding the 1000 years and sacrifices. There will be people who survive the tribulation and live into the Millennium not covered by Jesus blood. They will have children. They may still be able to place their faith in Christ afterwards, but will be instructed on how to. They will also suffer mortal death having missed the resurrection.
