I must start this conversation by mentioning that I believe in a pre- tribulational , pre millennial and a dispensational view of the prophetic scripture. I feel that the rapture of the church is the next event on Gods timeline and is closer than we would ever imagine!
In 1 Thessalonians 5:3” for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden destruction come upon them as travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape”. The world is declaring peace and safety now. They will not be able to escape at the rapture when all true born again believers are caught up to meet the Lord in the air at the rapture of the church . Everyone else will be left behind and completely caught off guard.
This is when I believe all the wars prophesied in scripture in the last days will begin. The restraining power of the Holy Spirit would have gone up with the believers.
This world is now on the brink of everything falling into place as prophesied in scripture . I do believe everything will take place like dominos falling in order.
What about a possible timeline of events? As we get closer, us believers are able get a better perspective of current events and how they may play out.
Just something to ponder. Please see below as a possible order of events.
1) Rapture
2) Isaiah 17: the Destruction of Damascus.
3) Psalm 83. The surrounding nations of Israel destroyed .
There may be only a short window of peace before the next war. It mentions in Ezekiel 38 verse 11” And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to them that are at rest that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates.”
4) Ezekiel 38-39. Russia ,Iran and Turkey come down to try to take a spoil on the nation of Israel. God miraculously protects Israel and these nations are destroyed. The world knows Beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is accomplished by God Almighty.
I believe that all of these wars could actually take place within a very short amount of time from each other.
What if the wars take place during a gap of time , after the rapture and before the tribulation starts. The tribulation starts at the signing of the peace treaty with the antichrist and the many nations , not at the rapture. Daniel 9:27. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week….”
