I wasn't exactly sure how to categorize this. These are some frank, off the cuff thoughts.
Friends, what I'm about to say I don't mean in a negative way. I'm not depressed. Actually doing well. I'm joyful, excited, and convicted of our soon departure, but it is apparent to me the world is shifting so fast now. 2020 with COVID was like hitting the 2x fast forward button. 2021 is like 16x. The Church "appears" in many ways to be out of strength and power (Rev. 3:8). I have "appears" in quotes because God is holding us firmly. He's got this. But the Titanic is sinking now. I wonder if the appearance of a weakening Church is because God is beginning the "tug" of harpazo. The restraint is being removed slowly... and then SUDDENLY very soon.
Most of the voices of truth are being algorithmed out of existence. It's hit Unsealed hard in the past 3-4 weeks. They've already blacklisted us on Google (but deceptively - they list our site as GREEN/OK/NOT BLACKLISTED). Unsealed gets a lot of traffic and a simple search of the word "Unsealed" would always be the #1 result. Now you can search through a sea of pages and never find our site. But in the past 3-4 weeks social media (i.e., FB and Twitter) has been basically hiding our articles from impressions. This is happening to so many other ministries now.
Just in the past few months my aunt has passed, my grandmother in NJ passed, brother Dan Matson, who was a pivotal part of this whole journey, passed, my wife's great uncle passed, our friends' house just burned down, my grandmother in TX just fell and broke three ribs, friends had a kid in the ER last night, the enemy just tried his hand at dividing this community last week, connections of family and friends have lost family and friends, two of my close friends, and others, have the Rona, and many of you and others are now in the thick of it with the threat of job loss and familial persecution regarding the vaccine.
Again, not sharing that because I'm depressed. To the contrary, we're about to win. Big. The Church has ALWAYS faced immense persecution, but NEVER globally and simultaneously. Even under Nero's reign there were still Christian communities outside of Rome that felt little of the effects. When persecution grew immense in Europe, God carved out a big section of the continent as a safe haven during the Reformation. Then when persecution came to England, God sent Christians to Plymouth Rock. Even with Mao's revolution, God carved out Taiwan.
So in all eras of the Church there have been many Christians under persecution and many living apart from it. But this is different. This is the whole world all at once. And life is still relatively easy for many, but the door is slamming shut. Leaders from all countries are unified with the same mantra and same purpose: to lockdown all people, shut down public gatherings (think church), and force all to receive a vaccine and proof of said vaccine or else face public shame, censorship, job loss, lack of access to restaurants, stores, and travel, etc.
We are literally witnessing a GLOBAL cultural revolution. If you think about any major geopolitical change, it doesn't just happen overnight. The Revolutionary War took time. The Civil War took time. The Chinese Civil War took time. The Soviet Revolution took time. Etc. The beast kingdom doesn't rise out of the sea in 2 seconds. It's a process, but it seems now to be a relatively quick process.
Everyone is asking when the Great Reset and Cyber Polygon plan are going to rollout. It's happening right now. All you have to do is look around. It was never going to be a 24-hour thing. It has and is taking months, and has been strategically planned as such by dark powers in the heavenly realms. They've overstepped their bounds and broken the nation-state rules God instituted after the Flood (Deut. 32:8). They're going to be kicked out and we're going to be taken in. We will judge angels (1 Cor. 6:3).
