I've been homeschooling my son since fourth grade, but this year (10th grade) he's going to be taking some high school classes so that he can try out for the baseball team. We go Friday to meet his guidance counselor and get him signed up. I thought we weren't going to be able to see him til the 9th, so I'm happy about that. But, I'm a little nervous. So, just knowing I have "family" who are praying will help Mainly it's just that there is one class that I really want him to be able to take, and I pray that it's not full yet. And that he can take Driver's Ed. And also, just that the counselor is understanding that Samuel wants to still take a couple of classes here at home. Thank you guys so much!

Everything went well! He's in the class that we wanted. It's a trades class, and his counselor thought that was cool because so many are so college focused but we need people in the trades. (All of the counselor's uncles are in the trades) So, he just needed three more classes, and those shouldn't be a problem. One class is PE/Health/Driver's Ed. So, I think we are all set!

Great Job Mom. Love your work. My daughter (17) is a social bug and I tried to get her to stay home when the covid hit but she would not. So she has a guy friend (same grade) and that is okay. And although I refrain from speaking to him so that if the deal goes south I will not be to blame, he has involved her in his family, parents and grandparents. So recently she had to do the senior project and she did music for little children at the library. She posted flyers and so forth and got a mentor and so much more. So she learned to play a few songs and rehearsed her presentation several times here at the house. Then on the day of her presentation she had one hundred twelve people attend. She said the little children did not want to leave. The loved it. Afterwards the boyfriends family who all attended and even the grand parents , took her for a good meal and celebrated her achievement. Wow. How is that for good kids. And, I had nothing to do with her preparation. She is an overachiever. So that is my good kid story and I am so proud of you for being a good example for your children. I goes to show that we can follow the Savior and have good results in our children.
