I posted in the shoutbox that we have covid at our house. 4 out of 5 of us got sick. I must have had a mild case of it or God protected me from getting too sick or multivitamins do work (or all the above). My boys are feeling better just still get tired easily.
My request is for my husband though. He's really sick. He called the doctor this morning and they are putting him on a steriod and something else, plus some vitamins, baby aspirin, and musinex. We are hoping to keep him out of the hospital, but he said he woke up in the night and thought he might need to go.

Natalie, Will pray! Prednisone is an anti-inflammatory. If its that, it will help his inflammation. I needed it after about two weeks, cuz my eye socket swelled up (weird!). How is his fever (if any)? Another thing that I noticed was even tho I felt like garbage, I needed to keep moving throughout the day. Dont let him lay horizontally for 24 hour periods. |

Thanks, Mike. Prednisone is what they prescribed. And yes, he's trying not to lay flat. He has had a low fever off and on...99 to 100.7. I think day three it got higher, maybe 101 something.

Similar pattern through here the last two-three weeks with my wifes boys. Low grade fevers for both, slight to moderate headaches, some sinus congestion, theyre fine now. He just has to endure |

I will add your husband to my prayers. I also praying that God will continue to keep you safe(r) so that you can attend to your families needs as they are fighting/recovering.

Praying for him, Natalie! Thankful you didn't get a bad case of it.
My wife's father (78) was in the hospital for a week with it. Just got home with oxygen and is recovering very nicely.
We are taking the multi-vitamin cocktail recommended and have avoided it so far.

fitz vitamin D seems to be a big deal for the immune system. The beloved dr Fauci takes 10k IU per day - but doesnt tell others they should too. Im sure youve done your homework on this.

Yep. We are trying to get at least 5000 IU of D3 daily + Zinc, magnesium, selenium, C, etc.

Husband is feeling better...or maybe I should say he's feeling less miserable.  . Now we are trying to get the health department to provide a release form for my son to go back to baseball practice. We are getting conflicting answers from the health department. |
