One quote from the Gospel of Thomas, from that site you linked -- 114 Simon Peter said to them: Let Mary go forth from among us, for women are not worthy of the life. Jesus said: Behold, I shall lead her, that I may make her male, in order that she also may become a living spirit like you males. For every woman who makes herself male shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. Do you really believe Jesus said something like this? That this is truth? I didn't link to anything other than the historical page, beyond that, your on your own, I agreed not to "teach" anything against the established doctrine. Do you really believe history is fiction? When one site historical fact, it is just that fact. Any conclusions or derivations are the readers/writers. I can state fact and still have an opinion as to what they mean, but that is opinion. Which is why I linked the page for historical fact. Apparently, when I state things, they are just my opinion, not based in fact, so when I came across another person who had dedicated significant time and energy to also finding and stating fact, I linked it. The history within is proven and not opinion. People may choose to ignore facts, if they don't fit what ever narrative they believe, but then you are simply lying to yourself to make your beliefs fit your personal opinions. If people know the real history, and continue to propagate lies, then they do so knowing they are lying to promote the agenda they have. If truth matters, then follow truth.

I quoted what is attributed to other apostles because you claim they are just as much truth as the 4 in the canon.
I wanted to see if you really believed they were truth. But it seems you are not interested in dialogue.

You said what he has collected is facts, or am I misunderstanding you?
The author himself says: The author claims no expertise concerning the authenticity of any of the lost books and leaves this judgment to the reader.
He puts them on his site but them claims he doesn't know if they are authentic. Yet you see them as fact. (I am speaking of the ones attributed to the apostles, ones from which I quoted on this thread) Correct?

Sometimes God is so good! Not looking for this but came upon it today. Maybe its just AI, but since I haven't searched for any of this I find it interesting to see it in my feed. I do have an app for this channel on my phone, but I'm not on my phone either. In any event I am posting this for those who may have read along on this thread or another where the validity of the bible is challenged. Many, many, many people who are FAR smarter, talented, diligent, knowledgeable, insightful ... than I am have provided sound documentation of the validity of the biblical text. I could not help but share this for others
EDIT - if you have school aged children or teens, this is good info to have and share. It is also good for us to be in defense of our faith (1 Pet 3:15)
