Would humbly ask for prayers for my family. My aunt very unexpectedly passed away this evening from cirrhosis. She was a believer, but also very much struggling in her life. Prayers for my mother and grandmother as they are grieving.
Thank you all.

Gary I am so sorry to hear this news.
Prayers and blessing upon you and your family; you are a wonderful example to follow.
Death is surely our greatest enemy and Lord Jesus has conquered death. A few years ago 5 young teenagers were on their way to school and the inexperienced driver, a 14 year old girl, accidently went off the road into the lake. All five teenagers drowned in that car; three from one family and two from another. I attended the funeral and at the viewing several children were playing and having fun. I was amazed at the dramatic contradictions. Absolutely beautiful teenagers laying in caskets with beautiful children playing nearby; not more than 30 feet away. It did not seem real. The driver of the car was stunningly beautiful. I heard the father give a talk sometime later and it reminded me of Job. His confidence in the Savior was absolute. That whole experience for me was biblical; death has been conquered and we know it.

Praying for your family, Gary. (Psa 130:5 - I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope.) Lam 3:21-25 May our LORD, God of all comfort, bring His comfort, peace, and hope to each of you.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your Aunt. Death has a great way of reminding us that are time here is finite. Praying that this loss will draw your family and the people that knew your Aunt closer to Jesus.

"When you are brought before synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not worry about how to defend yourselves or what to say. For at that time the Holy Spirit will teach you what you should say.” Luke 12:11-12
Gary, I believe this verse would apply to situations such as yours as well. I pray that Jesus gives you the presence and confidence needed to fill your audience with faith in God and the assurance they need to continue on with hope to see your aunt again soon.
