rt: Yes, it would be better if we focus on few years into the past to present and then chart the future. It would give us an idea of the upcoming contractions and how much apart. And to watch out for major events happening and our Hope to come. Hundreds and thousands years into the past is too much, I agree. The chart would make it real for the secular world. And gives us focus for some of us who would be lured to complacency. And to wake up people who were sleeping at the church. I am guessing maybe start with the birth of Israel? Maybe its easier to calculate than start of birth of the Lord or the ministry? Or the death? Or the birth of the church? Servant I have seen a similar timeline regarding earthquake frequency, just dont recall where. I think you can achieve your goal in excel. Categorize (columns) the data you want to measure, such as earthquakes in one, wars in another and so on. In column A list the years, or months...I think months would give better detail. Then list the data.

Servant , the USGS has some pretty good data on earthquakes w/charts and graphs that look like a heart monitor that is increasing in intensity if not frequency. There is also some good hurricane/cyclone data on the NOAA websites. I noticed the number of hurricanes has increased dramatically since the first part of the last century to now, but that could partly be due to record keeping or storms going unseen due to lack of sensor equipment and eye witnesses. I'd be willing to bet that all this data could easily be blamed on 'climate change' though.

mike, stormyknight, rt, Thanks for the feedback and the links. I will look and compare the intervals. Hopefully I can figure it out soon.
