Seems that more and more each day as the evils that we are watching happen around us, I am drawn to reflect on the promises of God. There is wickedness in our world and at times I become overwhelmed. Not that Jesus isn't in control, but because of verses etched in my spirit and soul like 1 Pet 3:11-12, Psa 97:10, & Rom 12:9 to name a few, it pains me inside to see whats happening and realize that the devil is going to wreak havoc in this world like never in history and never again! I remember our promises and realize that with each passing day, we are growing ever so close! 1 Thes 4:15 for this to you we say in the word of the Lord, that we who are living — who do remain over to the presence of the Lord — may not precede those asleep
So I was thinking about it...We're not guaranteed tomorrow, and if the Lord came for His people would I want to be
Alive and have the experience of seeing the dead rise to life?! Or flip that around and rise first! What in the world will that look it: - To the alive believer who gets a sliver of second, will he/she even realize?!
- To the dead who rise first and get to see the remaining, transformed to life?!
Thinking about this blew my mind. Rather than meditating on the evil world, I reset my sight on the promise and thought it would be fun to see what others thought about this

I think I'd like to be in the second set.
edit: I've tried to explain my pov, but I can't seem to find the right words. I just want to be alive when Jesus changes my form of existence.

The question imposed depends on how someone views the timing.
Would I want to be alive or dead? If I was pre-Trib, alive. If I was post Tb, dead.
No one wants to go through terrible trying times. So, if you had to go through difficult times before the rapture, would you choose differently?

So, if you had to go through difficult times before the rapture, would you choose differently? Yeah I left that out on purpose. Suppose it would be another interesting facet to ask the question as both if pre-Trib or non pre-Trib
