"Informed Christians" has this video that drops a new bombshell on the concept of the the 70th week. . . . . .
I have no idea if I can accept this--this is a totally new concept for me. It brings a host of new questions, but also brings a few possible answers to some of these questions.
My first thought is that this is a misunderstanding of the passage in Daniel.
Anyway, he is sharing this info.

My first thought is that this is a misunderstanding of the passage in Daniel. That was my first thought, as well, watchmanjim. It does raise some interesting questions to investigate, though.

Yes. The Daniel 7 passage in question never gave me the idea before that the wicked one would actually be able to delay the universe of God. I figured he might mess with the calendar for his own purposes, ie, getting rid of the 7-day week, changing feast days or holidays, renaming the months, etc.

My heart says..
God, in His omnipotence has never been delayed. He makes beauty of the ashes and works all things together for the good of those who love him according to his purpose.
He has been right on track and on time. Satan has interfered and made attempts that God has used to help Him with his sorting process of the sheep and goats. Just look now how we know cycles in the 360 day year and when the leap years are. That Satan tried to turn it into 365 equal days. We know how to calculate now that we would not have been able to have our eyes had not been opened. God is never outdone, never outsmarted, never delayed, our God knows everything and has all authority. For instance "a day is 1000 years and a thousand years is a day, right? God created the world in seven days and he has been taking back the world in 7000 years. 4000 to the crucifixion, 2000 years of church age grace, 1000 years of the millennium. I see that he's right on track!

Yes, I believe you are right, truthseeker. When he said that, it blew my mind. I was thinking-- oh great, just when we think we've got it figured out-- this! But no, I don't think this is possible, what he said, and so this is another "probably false" teaching to contend with out there in association with the Rapture and the end times.
