Seeing as football season is getting started this is just for some light hearted fun.
The Green Bay Packers are the football team I follow.
This is their upcoming 1st three games in their schedule:
9/13 - Minnesota Vikings 9/20 - Detroit Lions 9/27 - New Orleans Saints
Vikings - A Pagan and pillaging people. Could be seen as man today. Worshiping the wrong things and taking everything from man. Lions - Symbol of our Holy Lord God. Saints - We the Church body of Christ.
So symbolism is we are in the phase of destructive man. Then the Lord. Finally the Saints and rapture!
Ok, not to be taken seriously. We all need some levity from time-to-time. Just some fun symbology for this month. Football fan comments welcome, except for Bears fans. Ok, just kidding. Love you as well.

Casual Giants fan sog. Dont know their schedule. Was a bigger fan of fantasy football until the last year or two, where Ive really lost interest, even though I'm still involved in one league. So I root for players. No Packers on my team, but I do have a Viking and a Raider

Giants, Ugh! Broke my heart twice in the playoffs. 2007 Packers lost to Giants in NFC Conference game on Brett Favre's last throw as a Packer. An interception of course. Then again in 2011 as the heavily favored 15-1 Packers were upset by Giants. Hope the Giants have a good year. Maybe the Packers will get a shot at redemption in the NFC title game. Only did the fantasy football thing once. It was just too time consuming for me. I've also lost more interest the last few years. I played football since I was a kid, but professional sports have become too political and became too much an idol in my heart anyway. Anger and anxiety over a game is silly, know what I mean? So I stepped away a bit and now watch only some of the games if I have nothing going on. And I feel much better. Anyway, I saw their schedule and it struck a funny cord with me regarding the teams and timing this month. Maybe we can catch a game together from heaven this year. True Saints vs. Demons.
