My strange dream last night was that I couldn't understand what king was coming; a king of Judah or a king of Benjamin. As I wrestled the with this problem that seem to have no solution I decided that it must be a king in Benjamin; because, he was the 1st king over Israel. So I shouted "long live King Benjamin" and walked to a location and shouted so that all the people in the surrounding area could hear. " Long live King Benjamin."
Then I wondered who King Benjamin was. As I considered this I thought of Donald Trump and came to him to support him. It was then that his cart or carriage slid over the edge of the hill. Fortunately he was not in it and I was able to stop the fall but wondered if I could ever return the carriage to the top of the hill.
So in the dream I linked Saul of the tribe Benjamin to Trump and hoped to stop and return his carriage to the top of the hill. How odd is that?

I am reading through my Bible in a year and was hypothesizing last week talking to my Pastor that Saul is a foreshadow of the AC because he was the king prior to David, just like the AC appears on the scene prior to Jesus coming back.
Anyways, I reigned myself in because I hadn't actually started reading in Samuel as I was still reading through Judges at the time. 😁
I am starting to see foreshadowing in 1 Samuel that supports my hypothesis. The reason why I am sharing it in this thread is because I think it supports your dream.
In 1 Samuel 12:16-18 “Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes!Is it not wheat harvest now? I will call on the Lord to send thunder and rain. And you will realize what an evil thing you did in the eyes of the Lord when you asked for a king.”
Then Samuel called on the Lord, and that same day the Lord sent thunder and rain. So all the people stood in awe of the Lord and of Samuel."
The Israelites are chastized for wanting a King. This passage leapt out at me because of the mention of the wheat harvest. If we follow the theory of the barley then wheat then grape harvest, it is a passage that could relate to the events of the tribulation.
In Chapter 13 we see Saul make the burnt offering. Is that kind of a foreshadow of the Abomination of Desolation?
When Trump announced his intentions to run for President in 2015, it was what awoken me to thinking we are in the latter days. I just knew in my spirit to watch Trump and that he would be president although at the time it didn't appear he would be the one to win the Republican candidacy, let alone be president.
Many people hope to return Trump to the presidency, just like the King Benjamin and his cart in your dream. I have always felt that Trump could be the AC, from the day I was told to watch Trump and your dream thread seemed like the best place to share my thoughts about Saul/Trump.
Probably my favorite part of Chapter 12 was verse 23: "As for me, I vow that I will not sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you. I will teach you the good and right way."
Samuel is praying for the people and for Saul. Even if Trump turns out to be the AC, we should still pray for him.

Saul also reigned for 42 years. If the years are substituted for months, he reigned 3.5 years.

I'm reading your post for the first time, and what struck me immediately was this about the cart/carriage sliding over the edge of the hill. I wonder if perhaps that is imagery of the election turmoil that came not too long after you had the dream... President Trump fell from power, but he has still been active, and many wonder if he might one day regain the presidency.

I had to laugh and wonder if I had such a dream. So after consideration, for a while, I do kind of vaguely remember the dream but not clearly. I think that you are right that the carriage going over the edge of the hill represents his fall from the presidency. And the point that he was not in the carriage symbolized that he was not physically injured. Interesting.
