The Greek word μάλιστα (malista) has been translated: “especially”, “specially”, “chiefly”.
It (the word malista) occurs twelve times in the Bible. Acts 20:38 , Acts 25:26, Acts 26:3, Galatians 6:10, Philippians 4:22, 1 Timothy 4:10, 1 Timothy 5:8, 1 Timothy 5:17, 2 Timothy 4:13, Titus 1:10, Philemon 1:16, 2 Peter 2:10
Now 2 Timothy 4:13 reads “When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.”
Here Paul is requesting that Timothy, to bring with him 1) the cloak 2) scrolls and 3) parchments. Practically, anyone reading this would understand Paul’s request is being “inclusive”. Meaning, he wants the three items mentioned, but he really wants the parchments….
Now Titus 1:10 reads “For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group.”
Here Paul is pointing out there are groups of people who are full of deception and meaningless talk; and one of those groups are some Jewish people. Again, the word is used as being “inclusive”…. Meaning both the Jewish group and the non-Jewish group are practicing deception.
Now Philemon 1:16 reads “no longer as a slave but better than a slave—as a dear brother, especially to me, but even more so to you, both as a person and as a believer.”
Once again Paul is using the word “especially” as an inclusive word – that is Onesimus is now both a Christian brother to Paul as well as Philemon.

Feel free to check out the other verses. In each and every time the word is used – “It always is used as being inclusive”. Meaning that whatever is being “grouped” together as a comparison – it ALWAYS includes both (or all) the groups. It NEVER is used to mean “one” or the “other”.
So when we come to one of the most famous (or is that infamous) verses around…. What do you wish to BET that the word is once again being used inclusively --- rather than exclusively?
Now 1 Timothy 4:10 reads “That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.”
Sure seems to me … that we are being plainly told – God is the Savior of ALL People. I know, I know many people wish to twist and squirm their way around this plain teaching. Adding conditions and “Yea Buts” – trying to avoid the plain meaning.
Research it yourself! Examine all the verses where this word “malista” is used – even check it’s use in other Greek manuscripts …. Is it always used inclusively?
This is really Good News – what Jesus has accomplished, He accomplished for ALL People – not a “select few”.

Now, please do not get me wrong, I am not trying to set up a new doctrine -- claiming everyone is SAVED -- or everyone will eventually become SAVED.
What I am trying to do is to point out that God (Father, Son, Spirit) is so loving that He has provided the means for all people to be SAVED.
It would not surprise me to eventually learn there is a "Plan C" where more people are brought into the family of God ... outside what scripture currently teaches us (or future revelation) -- Like all the mysteries Paul revealed to us. Can I really prove such a speculation -- absolutely not ... but I have learned not to build a "BOX" around God -- with what He Can and Will do.

Where is all of this coming from? This past weekend, some brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ were having some discussions which - dare I say became a bit heated --
While I imagine all of us will agree unbelievers -- will not be part of the rapture. There were some insisting there would be "believers" (who somehow were not completely ready, or were mature enough, or did not have the right type of faith) would also be missing out.
We are told over and over again in scripture that NO ONE comes to Father except they be drawn! Jesus, himself claims, He will LOSE NONE of those drawn.
Maybe this is one of those ideas, I cannot fully comprehend in my limited Human Brain -- but the idea of "partial believers" really bothered me.
