We are living in the end times. "BLM" is Psalm 55 today. Rebellion.
The whole Psalm... The entire chapter. WOW!
verse 20 is about cops. "peace" officers who have a covenant with the people.
21, their chant of showing favoritism of one group of men over all others. God is not a respector of persons.

Psa 55:1{To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
The above is David prayerfully complaining to God about his enemy 3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
7 Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
David would escape to the wilderness if he could 8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
9 Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
11 Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
I see an application for today in the above 10-11 12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
12-14 is David speaking of a fellow Jew who turned against him, possibly Absalom 15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
23 But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

I see where you could apply a verse or two. The psalm is about David being betrayed by someone close to him, most likely Absalom and those looking to overthrow (Ahithophel). What is it you see that I am not?

What is it you see that I am not? My friend, coworker has so much hate in him. I've never seen anything like it. Never in my life have I seen so much pure hatred. 3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. They blame me for the things they themselves do. 4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me. 5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. Seattle, New York, Chicago, etc... 9 Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city. What do they paint on the walls? What do they do to the glass windows? What do they do inside the buildings? 10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it. Riots, looting...spray painting private buildings. What do they do inside the buildings? What do they paint on the streets? 11 Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets. deceit and guile... BLM My own friend filled with such rage and hatred. I've never seen anything like this. A personal friend, a Marine. 13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. 14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. "Black Lives Matter"? God is not a respector of persons. It's rebellion. "I would not have this man rule over me" 1 Samuel 8:7 Luke 19 Cops swear an oath to protect and serve and keep the peace! 20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. 21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. "Black Lives Matter!!!" Oh it sounds so right, but it's showing respect of persons. God is not a respector of persons

I see Babylon has been in control over the nations of men ever since God placed Babylon in control in Jeremiah 27.
6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. 7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him. 8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the Lord, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. 9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
until the very time of his land come: = 1 Samuel 10 (3 loaves of bread)
Look at your dollar bill. What do you see on the back? Is Babylon still in control? What does the US Dollar control? What is the strongest nation on earth? Hint: Obama said it to Congress.

I consider that part of prophecy to be completed. He was disposed by God, he’s part of the 5 that had fallen, and removed by an inferior kingdom. The Jews in his day were preaching to fight against Nebuchadnezzar. God’s minister tells them they must submit to Babylon. We are no longer to submit to Babylon (come out of her my people). Babylon is contrary to God in every way.

I wanted to say to you two that I appreciate you guys. Not only you two but over the last few days especially. As I observe things going on around me locally and across the news I see nothing but anger, complaining, dissent, desire to make this world better and so on. But here I have the ability to discuss, learn, dialogue about our King! His kingdom is not of this world and we are of His kingdom.
Thank you for sharing your insights

I can see it, uscgvet, especially verses 12-15 and 20-21. People have become polarized. Even those who I thought were friends. They want to know where you stand on things. Not just the #BLM, but the COVID "Plandemic". And before you can get your mind into words they assume you are on the other side and chide you for it. My own sister is this way. Those I work with. Those with the strongest opinion are the loudest. But it seems the words they use are difficult to counter, (verse 21). I believe that the evil forces have permeated society and are no longer whispering in peoples ears, but yelling and screaming and getting people worked up. It is truly uncharacteristic of most of the people I know that have become this way. The day is coming when: "From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:52-53 I know Jesus is allowing this as the previous verses show and He is greatly distressed until it is accomplished. But! Jesus is King, and He is coming soon!

The Jews in his day were preaching to fight against Nebuchadnezzar. God’s minister tells them they must submit to Babylon. We are no longer to submit to Babylon (come out of her my people). Babylon is contrary to God in every way. That's fine. Lot's of people think that way. I also thought that way up till I read Luke 19 a few weeks ago and saw that Jesus was literally clue-ing the reader to 1 Samuel 8-13. 6 verses in Luke 19 match almost identically to 1 Samuel Chapters 8 thru 13. Nowhere else in the Bible do these verses show up in such manner. That parable isn't just about the parable. Jesus told that parable and the reason WHY! 11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. It's about the end. God declares the end from the Beginning. Luke 18: "and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished." Samuel was definitely a prophet. Here is where I'm keeping track of my notes on the Luke 19 - 1 Samuel 8-13 link. Jeremiah 27-28.board.unsealed.org/thread/2328/luke-19-parable-allusion-samuelI believe the 3 kids in 1 Samuel 10 are the first 3000 years from Adam to David. The 3 loaves of bread are the Times of the Gentiles where Babylon was placed in charge by God (Jerimiah 27-28) which ends when Christ takes His kingdom back as the seed of David. [2 of the loaves of bread of the 3 are given to Saul... ie Jesus Christ given the 2000 year Church age of grace] 1 bottle of wine (blatantly obvious what this represents) Jeremiah 27 21 Yea, thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem; 22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the Lord; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place. (Jesus visits after 1 loaf of bread) How do we know Jesus wasn't talking about the vessels that he brought with Him to God after Jesus rose from the dead?
Jeremiah 28 11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. (WITHIN the space of 2 years [2000 years, 2 loaves of bread]! This verse is after the "day that I visit them")Babylon has been in control since God placed them in charge of all nations.

I'm telling you now. Everything I'm seeing in the Old Testament was written about Jesus. After seeing the direct link with Luke 19 to 1 Samuel Chapters 8-13, I see nearly the entire Bible as prophecy about the end! Even from the very first Hebrew word.
We are not to rebel against those whom God put in charge. Romans 13 1 Peter 2
Mark 10 42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
Babylon is still in charge! God placed Babylon in charge, and to rebel against authority is rebelling against God.
Babylon is still in charge.
The statue in Daniel is 1 man. It doesn't actually get destroyed until the stone smashes the feet.

"there shall they be until the day that I visit them,..." Jer. 27:22
doesn't that just give you goosebumps? 'hey, peeps, God's gonna be here. IN PERSON. Do you hear what I'm sayin'? HE'S GONNA BE HERE IN PERSON!!'
I've wished that I could have lived 2000 years ago in Jerusalem or Galilee and recognized Him for who He is, but then, I would be here waiting for Him to return in Glory!

I guess that shows just how hard the forces of evil are working, " ...that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible." Mark 13:22 But have no fear, "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand.…" John 10:27-29
I get side tracked a lot, mike , like while I've been trying to put that timeline together. Then I find verses like:
"He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”" Acts 1:7-8
I get so involved in trying to find when things will happen and find out God the Father has certain dates set that it is not for us to know. Why? I don't know, except maybe so we won't anticipate it. But we are to be witnesses. To just watch and see the scriptures unfold before us like what uscgvet , noticed from Psalm 55. Yes maybe it is King David lamenting over the wrongs done to him by a friend, but it still applies today. It is happening to all of us in differing degrees as we are able to cope with it and we recognize it and share it with each other to help lift each other up to keep our eyes on Him so we don't sink.
May the Love of God the Father and Jesus Christ be with all of you!
