Can anyone suggest a good study guide? My 17 yo would like to read through Revelation and I would like to read more also.
Also, I heard at a sermon that those taken up at the Rapture would be here on earth during the 1,000 yr reign of Christ. I'd definitely like more information about that.
Thanks!

In my opinion the Book of Revelation is so vast that one study guide is not enough to explain the book. Today I was thinking about the word "eagle" in context with the word "great" at Rev. 12:14. Recently I watched a video posted my mike that had some great information on the BofR. lookingabove, it is a hard book and those of us that spend time there are still trying to understand the book. So start somewhere and keep your mind open to other interpretative possibilities.

Revelation is a prophecy. I would invest in a book that not only goes through Revelation, but I would have an open mind to understand the different theories and invest in a book that doesnt focus on one being that "this is it" theory: 1. Pre-Trib 2. Mid-Trib 3. Post Trib 4. Pre Wrath It is important to understand each and why proponents of each think theirs is right. Read what they say and look it up in complete context. Pray to God for revealing substance to you and be honest about it.

venge - do you have such a resource? Just asking, because it's one thing to suggest what to look for and quite another to figure out how to find it. I think that's why lookingabove posted asking for suggestions for a resource to use. A place to start with studying. There are lots of things out there, but not all are good.
