I’m not sure if anyone has created a thread about this yet, so I apologize if it is already being discussed... I greatly respect our brother Jonathan Cahn, and I am looking forward to reading his new book that will be coming in August. Here’s his video describing the September event he’s named “The Return.” Pray for America, brothers and sisters...

I like Cahn. Hes a fellow Jersey guy Went to his facility in the 90's. very Jewish in everything there and their worship. Different experience for certain. I trust that his intent is to have people repent, be saved and spread the gospel. I do not believe that 2 Chr 7:14 is to be interpreted for America, China, Russia etc. it was written to the Jew, but I suppose we can apply it to today. I also do not agree that we can "return". We are past the point. This plan of increased wickedness was foretold. We should not be surprised by this. Dont mistake me observing the truth for being pessimistic. I hurt daily from the wickedness I see. I ask God to move in hearts. I speak to people about Him. Alas we love our wickedness

I also sense we're past the point of national repentance, but I'll keep praying. I hope I'm wrong, and God does a great work of revival in America. And even if God doesn't heal our land, but people are saved and our spiritual decline decreases, it will be a great blessing.

16:21 From that time forward Jesus began to show to His disciples how that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 16:22 Then Peter took Him aside, and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Let this be far from You Lord; this will not happen to You!" 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me Satan! You are an offense to Me, because, you are not thinking things that are of God, but those that are of man."
What is happening must happen and it is a good thing. We should not be trying to preserve this world. Is this the appointed time or not?

I'm sure a lot of prophetic events are set in stone, but I'm also fairly certain that some can be delayed through prayer. Jonah/Ninevah being a good example. Speaking of prophetic announcement, John Fenn also had a vision concerning America this fall that I thought you all would be interested in. Most of his work that I've seen hasn't been prophetic which is why this made me take notice. I mean if we are to believe Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17, then someone has to be having these dreams and visions that are from our Lord and Savior and not a deception of the devil.
edit: Perhaps I didn't word that the best I could. I didn't mean to imply anything anywhere else is a deception of the devil, just that we have to be careful and test everything. Especially when someone comes forward and says, "the Lord told me..." I pray everyone here is blessed with discernment and understanding from the Holy Spirit that we may all come together in peace and love in Jesus Christ.

I do not know this person aside from this video and what you may think of him stormyknight . A few things cause my spidey senses to tingle. Him believing he is a seer, his mention of apostles, him selling a book I'm not throwing the baby out but I am leery of people who say "the Lord told me..." he also said "Normally the Lord comes to tell me in January/February" which struck me as very odd. God visits this guy every winter, but this year He came a little early. God can visit anyone at any time, but every year since '86 (or whatever year he said) His telling us some things that have already past doesnt cause him to be a prophet or seer. Lets see if Biden suffers a stroke, and other things around election time. On another note what does Paul tell us: 1Cor 14:5 Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up.this prophecy of his should follow that model

Great! EDIT - thanks SoCal...I doubtfully would have ever understood that the way it was thoughtfully laid out in that write up. I always wondered about the gourd, worm and east wind.

mike, I agree with you on this. I guess this fall will be a test for John Fenn. I take this video with a grain of salt. My wife is drawn to him and likes his teaching, some of which she has shown to me. This is the first I've seen of him prophesying. The only way we will know is if his words come true. Will that be too late? Will Jesus say, "hey, I had John Fenn tell you all..." I would like to ask John how a person would go about testing him and getting confirmation because if he is legitimate, Jesus would relay the info through him to His church. Right? I do have an issue with him calling himself both a seer and an apostle, though. By definition, an apostle is one who is sent out on a mission, which is what the twelve apostles did. A seer is one who sees or predicts events or has acute moral insight, in a word, a prophet. John has talked in other videos about having been given a mission to start and maintain a network of house churches which he says is how the first disciples met. ok, whatever, makes sense. But now saying he is a seer, he's going to have to produce fruit for anyone to not blindly follow his work. socalexile, I understand what you posted and it says something of you to have searched it out, Prov. 25:2. Are you familiar with the term "Explain it like I'm five"? That's what I was going for with Jonah/Nineveh. Jonah warned, the people repented and prayed, and God spared them. Simple as that. Mark 10:15 , Matt. 18:3 . And that is how I took what John Fenn was referring to, that the events this fall are "subject to prayer". That with fervent prayer on the church's part or repentance and prayer by those who turn to Jesus because of the strife would delay or protect those who are doing the praying from said strife. Of course a lot can happen between now and then. We could be 'raptured' before the strife starts, etc.. But one thing I do feel in my heart, and I felt this way before watching this video, is that, how ever the election turns out this fall, this country, the USA, will polarize even further and riots may erupt that will make the #BLM riots look like playground fights.

I havent seen or heard the guy in the video, so cant comment on that. I'm very impressed with Jonathan Kohn. Hes very solid and has done tons of research. It was he who was the frontrunner who opened up so many people to the incredible concept of Bloodmoons and particularly the tetras and also the 7 year Schmita cycle and their prophetic significance along with the feats being Gods calendar.
I am especially impressed that while many others have called for National prayer, he is unique in calling for national repentance. I agree w Mike that in many ways we are past the point of return to normal or the country we were 30 years ago, it's not too late for repentance. Edit: I was rereading several posts and the thought came to mind, that scripture tells us very Cleary that what we should expect to see is not massive revival, but massive/ great apostasy. So I agree we won't see the national revival or return, but I do believe strongly that with the Covid, riots, looting, BLM, anarchy, that this will cause countless individuals to repent- one of these being my niece who was far far from God and returned like the prodigal. 😉🙏
