In the parable of the weeds, Jesus describes how the devil sows the people of the evil one among the people of the Kingdom.
"The kingdom is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. Then at night, his enemy sowed weeds among the wheat. Later on the wheat sprouted forming heads, then the weeds also appeared.
The man's servants asked: "Sir, you sowed good seed? Where did the weeds come from?"
He replied: "An enemy did this, you must wait for the harvest when I will order the harvesters to collect the weeds to be burned. Then they will gather the wheat into my storehouse"
The disciples then asked Him to explain the parable.
"The man who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seed is the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are the angels.
As the weeds are pulled up and burned, so it is at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of His Kingdom everything that causes sin, and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
"Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of Their Father.
Whoever has ears, let them hear.
Notice how in the explanation, there is no reference made to the storehouse. There is also no reference made to harvesting the wheat. This does clearly imply that the evil are taken to be burned; While The People Of The Kingdom Remain.
We should all accept this at face value, adjusting our perspective concerning the "Who's Who" during the Apocalypse.
There are so many references made directing our attention to the historic territories where the dragon controls; that by all means it should be considered how these areas are where the weeds have total control. It should be easy to see how these territories have also been the places of the people who have attempted to TOTALLY eliminate the Message of God's Authority.
It is therefore simple to deduce, that these areas are where the plagues will be applied directly to the seed of the dragon.
According to the parable, the People of the Kingdom are untouched.
For me, the righteous territories are easy to see. We blocked the expansion of the dragons territory's in World War Two, and then during the cold war, which is still ongoing, we surrounded it, preventing it from expanding. Here in the West, we who are of the righteous seed, can easily see how the devil planted the seed of the evil one in our politics. As pointed out in my earlier thread, it was Marx who is mostly responsible for spreading the evil seed.
From this I am saying how there are two territorial planes being addressed in the prophetic literature. The Apocalypse is very obviously dealing with the area immediately adjacent to Abraham's ancient promised land. It is also the region where the first rebel kingdom arose under the son of Ham, Nimrod. Hence the Fall of Babylon is clearly described. Because of our wars against the dragon this past 100 years, it is easy to see how we boxed them in, from China to central europe. Even now, central europe is aligning with the dragons historic territory in the ancient babylonian areas.
So what is really being shown here? The areas of total rebellion are what is going to fall. The areas outside those areas are where the weeds will be removed, leaving the Historic Righteous Nations to make war against the dragons territories.
Obviously, this scenario creates a quandary for a lot of Christians, including myself. But how many Christians are paying attention anyway, so for them it hardly matters, they will march into the Apocalypse unaware, having never looked at a prophetic weather report. Those of us who are watching, at the very least, will know what is happening, and offer encouragement. Those of us who are caught away, well, I do not know precisely what our roll will be, but it must have something to do with Divine Governance.
After all, there is no indication we will spend the rest of our existence sitting on a lily pad somewhere on the oceans of eternity.
