I was humming that song while I was working in my garden. I decided to take some pictures of some of God's tiny creatures (and one clover blossom). Hope you enjoy them.
If you've never seen one, this first one is a baby lady bug.

Thank you for sharing Natalie I really like the close ups, especially the bee and the clover. My family when I was growing up were beekeepers. I miss seeing the fields of red clover that people used to have when they had mixed farms or made hay. Now all the fields seem to be canola yellow year after year where I live.

I followed that little bee around and got several pictures. That one was my favorite.
I love watching the busy little creatures. I'm kind of sad though because I have seen very few butterflies and have only one caterpillar. I feel like all my flowers are late blooming this year. The one above with the candy striped leaf hopper (and the ladybug) is usually blooming by now.

Learned something new...the first picture in my first post is actually a baby pink-spotted lady beetle. A relative to what we usually think of as a ladybug. A couple of days later, it was still in the same spot but had changed into a pupa. I brought it inside, and we were able to see it change into the adult.
I don't know why God created insects the way He did, but I find them really cool. Such a Creator!

Beautiful pictures, Natalie! I love ladybugs, and they do awesome pest control in the garden... tiny warriors!

I haven't noticed any aphids on my milkweed this year, and I am pretty sure it's because I have seen several lady beetles / lady bugs in my garden.

I had mentioned I hadn't seen many butterflies/caterpillars yet...soon after I watched a monarch laying eggs on my milkweed. I posted a picture of a tiny caterpillar; most have now made it through their metamorphosis.
I have released 5 so far and have 10 to release today.
It's still amazing every single time, no matter how many times I've done this. I'm sure God could have created caterpillars to just eat plants, lay eggs, and make more caterpillars. But God turns them into winged creatures who lay eggs to make more caterpillars. Amazing.

My neighbor's daughter found a dragonfly laying in their yard. Her mom came out to look at it and saw it move. So, I told them they could put it on my flowers so the dog didn't eat it. I had to take photos of course. God's creativity is amazing.

My son and I are very excited. I had taken two monarch chrysalis over to my neighbor, and we were in the yard talking. She said she saw a butterfly, she thought a swallowtail but she's not sure on her butterfly identification, fluttering around the plants that are sticking out of my garden fence. I said it was probably a black swallowtail. Later, I went over and looked and found several eggs - giant swallowtail eggs. (Giant's eggs are deep orange and black swallowtail eggs look pale yellow or white, although they turn black before they hatch) My son went back out and found a few more; we have 13 total. These are his favorite butterfly.
