The Flag of USA

It's sad to watch these things taking place, but I take heart in the fact that Jesus said there would be days like this - and in the fact that He is surely coming soon.

I haven't been watching the news a whole lot, but our town Sunday into Monday was a mess -- looting, vandalism, arson, people just driving through town like maniacs. Had to drive past the high school today and it looked like someone tried to break one of the huge windows that is part of a walkway (still trying to find info on when that happened). I think things have calmed down, but I did read an article that the National Guard will be helping to guard some commercial areas so that the police are free to respond to other calls. I am guessing like patrolling at our mall that is closed because of covid. I heard a big helicopter earlier today, but we aren't far from a National Guard base (station?), so we occasionally hear/see the huge airplanes.

Trying to use the situation to share Truth on Facebook, but sometimes I have no words.

It's now an almost constant stream of signs and events. Unmistakable to those of us on the inside (as it were), but to those outside the family, yet perceptive enough to have an inking that something is amiss, it must be quite baffling. I think most of the lost are totally sheep to the slaughter (heads down, moving along), having no clue about what's about to happen.

Pray for them.
