In addition to the sickening idea that they are reciting how to behave it troubling. It is very cult-like and that whole "Black-out Tuesday" thing...I think you re onto something SoCal. Social Justice will be the new religion or a part of it. Although these guys compared this to religion, they acknowledged the Abrahamic religions have rules, and "these people" have no rules

Well, their rule would be "Better to punish 100 potentially innocent people, than let 1 potentially guilty person go free."
Which sounds good on paper, but is the very antithesis of Liberty.

Yes, it seems like wokeness/social justice (note: not just plain old justice) has become a new, godless religion that unites people across all religions. In other words, Christians that subscribe to this worldview are often spiritually and politically united and closer to Muslims and atheists that believe the same than they are to fellow Christians.

This is so sad to sit back and watch happen. I know that as eager as I/we have been to have the Lord return, to actually be witness of the things that are happening... On another note (for whoever) - the video states pretty plainly near the beginning what I quoted above Reminds me of Matt 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

It is exceedingly disturbing what is coming upon those left behind. Gary, I know we see the Day approaching however what if that Day does not come for 5 years, 10 years or even more. I am of the persuasion that we shouldnt assume that what we see as disturbing as being for someone else. We are literally living in this right now. And if the location of your residence or business is near any of this, any one of us could be swept into it. It would be short sighted to guess that there are zero Christians affected by this right now. I know for me the town where my brother lives had 1500 protesters about a 1/4 mile from his house last week. Let that sink in for a second...My niece attends the school where they all gathered. Fortunately that event remained under control. Since I am one not fully convinced of rapture timing, I see that there is that possibility that your statement could apply to me and you as well.  |

Updating my post above to include more of 2Thes 2. I had a thought that the US was the actual 'force' doing the restraining during our time. I quickly realized this cant be 100% accurate as when Paul wrote this he was speaking to the Thessalonians 2000 yrs ago. But when I read it I noticed that verse 11 & 12 really are a pre-cursor to the verses prior to it. I am not trying to open the debate on the restrainer, rather the delusion for those believing what is false is truly all around us. We are encompassed by LIES (COVID, BLM, Trans-Everything, DIVIDING GODS LAND insert your favorite deception here___). People are deluded! Completely across the globe, sooo many have gone so far away from THE STANDARD they have no idea what they are doing or saying. The Lord has allowed His creation to reject Him and follow our own evil desires. The king this world wants is soon to appear, but our Lord is who I am looking for! Anathema Marantha! (<EDIT-good commentary on why those who do not love the Lord are accursed) 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Right, and in fact there are many Christians directly impacted. I think we're in agreement. What I was trying to convey is that we're getting a small glimpse of Tribulation-type events now (kingdom vs. kingdom, ethnos vs. ethnos, lawlessness, lynching of political opponents worldwide, etc) that are reminiscent of Matthew 24, though not fully so. We're definitely not in the Trib yet, but the decorations are going up. I don't have a particular date, but at this point I feel strongly that the Tribulation begins this Fall, but as always, we must occupy until He comes while enduring whatever persecution comes are way. Those in the Trib will face what we're seeing now, only 1,000-fold.

Guys, I have been reading along this thread and watching the vids, and I basically agree with what you are saying. These problems are SYMPTOMS. Also, I find the vids VERY compelling. The guy (Tim) has a solid head on his shoulders, IMHO. I saw another vid link at the end of his last vid and started watching it; and boy, is it an eye opener. Here is the link if you want to watch it yourselves: What I find VERY interesting, is that everyone talks about the problems (talk radio, et c), but no one offers solutions for discussion. In the vid above, the older professor's book (and his verbal comments) imply a 'social' solution to the problems we are seeing. I think it will be worth your time. |
