Earlier this year, Trump's deal of the century had people saying "peace and safety". The Bible doesn't say there would be peace and safety but they would "say" it. Then what happened? The COVID 19 caused destruction for the whole world. Nations are in distress. The verse below says that "they" shall not escape. We are to keep looking up because our redemption draws nigh. We shall escape. So comfort one another with these words. We are in the birth pains but we are not to fear. These things must happen first. Jesus is coming soon! GOD bless!
1 Thessalonians 5
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

I never read this post earlier today and yet I was drawn to the same passage of scripture this afternoon. 😁👍👍 |

What I love about this verse is that it states, we will know when the day of the Lord comes soon by the following sentence. When you hear them say peace and safety and then comes sudden destruction. We just saw that. So we know He is coming soon! Keep looking up!
This COVID 19 has caused a big disturbance in the world. Even if we were to slowly be released back to the public. What did this do for small businesses? What did this do for stocks and the dollar? Will we see a huge currency crash? Things to think about but not to worry about. We have salvation through Jesus Christ!
I'm just glad to see that Bibles were being purchased like crazy during this time and hopefully many more came to the Lord or strengthened their faith.

I think the object is not always that there is peace and safety in the world and then comes destruction...that could happen but the object could also represent that under the guise of a false peace and false safety came destruction. Are false leaders and false preachers saying we have Peace and Safety when there really isn't - due to what's going on in the world, not just what's outside of your own neighborhood? |

That Ezekiel verse is interesting because that is what Trump's deal did. It got Israel interested and willing to accept his deal of the century but the muslims didn't want to accept it. So there was no peace. Just will have to keep watching and see how things go. |
