This is kinda neat...to me...YMMV. Way back over 20 years ago, we went with a group of brothers and sisters from our church to see Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat @ the Fox theater in Detroit (the Fox was built in the 1920's...amazing and restored to a tee by Mike Ilitch). Anyway, we were so excited to see this show...because I wanted to see the Fox (incredible art deco architecture), and Angela wanted to see Donny Osmond as Joseph. Well, The theater was amazing. I could not believe how ornate it was. We got seated and just before the curtain goes up, a guy comes on stage and announces that Donny is sick and the understudy would play Joseph. Of course, we were super disappointed at first, but the understudy was maybe the best vocalist I've ever heard in my life. The dude was truly awesome! Anyway...just saw that Andrew Lloyd Webber is running his musicals for free on You Tube on Friday nights to help cut the CV19 boredom. First one up is Joseph! Tonight! So, after over 20 years, we get to see Donny in the role! (the videos will be up for 48 hours from when they are posted on Friday evening). If you've never seen this play, it's really fun. www.youtube.com/channel/UCdmPjhKMaXNNeCr1FjuMvag

Thank you for sharing! I had never seen it so I am looking forward to not having to scroll through Netflix titles tonight to find something half worth when to watch.

I've never seen Phantom of the Opera. Maybe he'll run that one.
