Wow, The only thing better than Conspiracy theories, Bacon and Politics is Well, hmmmm Conspiracy Theories, Bacon, Politics and End Times. LOL.
OK, seriously, I know that Politics can and is often very very sticky, and divisive, So I'll first preface this by saying that God is neither Republican nor Democrat, and there are countless followers of Christ on both sides.
For me, it's not about the party, but the person.
For me personally, I've lived in Russia, just after the collapse of communism, Ukraine, and Post Communist, Poland, in a city that was Germany before WW II, so I take voting very seriously, and having personally experienced communism, and the permanent scars of it on a culture, it is often the case that we vote for the lesser of two or three or four evils.
No perfect party, or no perfect candidate. To not vote, - like many Christians have done - is irresponsible and as the saying goes, "All that is required for evil to prosper is for good men and women to do nothing." We cannot reasonably expect that all or even any of our candidates will be "True Evangelicals" and we should apply the same logic when voting for a city mayor or county judge. Vote for the person who most closely holds your values. It's my job to teach my children theology and doctrine, not the president or School board superintendent.
For me personally, it's not one issue, but several key issues.
A person who is Pro-Life.
A person who is pro-Israel. Israel is God's land, and the Jews are his chosen people, and scripture says "pray for the peace of Jerusalem. They shall prosper that love her."
*** A who will appoint conservative Justices to the Supreme Court - This is Huge, and it cannot be overstated, because it has the potential to literally our culture for the next 50 years.
A person who supports Veterans and military - the ones who literally put their lives on the line, and in many cases, paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
A person who supports the 2nd Ammendment. The right to keep and bear arms. In every place where Communism was and is, - the government came in and prohibited the citizens from defending themselves against an oppressive regime/ the abuse of power.
The Democrat party, publicly and officially voted God off their platform, and is the party that supports abortion and LGBTQ radical agenda
Just this week, the Democrats quashed a bill that would give medical support for babies that survived an abortion.
Trump is without question, the most pro-Israel President in our nation's history. All his sons married Jewish women, and his daughter Ivanka married Jared Kushner, and she converted. Judaism is passed through the Mother, so all Trump's grandchildren are Jewish.
He is a strong ally and friend with Netanyahu, and Jewish rabbis are saying that Trump is a type/ shadow of King Cyrus who was instrumental in building the Temple.
So here's the good and bad, and the way I see it as it's connected to end times.
Why/ How is this election cycle relevant to end times events?
We are nearing the upper limit for a generation and the passage in Matthew re the fig tree, and many view this as explicitly clear reference to Israel becoming a nation in 1948.
Trump is the only president who officially moved the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Because of this, multiple other countries also followed his lead, and also moved their embassies to Jerusalem.
Trump was instrumental in the so-called deal of the century, ***here's the bad part, and this unquestionably divides God's land, and there is a curse in scripture for whoever does this.
If the exit polls are accurate, and Netanyahu wins the seats needed to form a government - [he has the clear majority] then the mapping committee will sign the annexation /Dividing of land in the next two weeks. 
think it means that we see the rapture sometime within the next four year election cycle - due to the massive convergence of many signs in heaven, stars, planets and signs on the earth, and the red heifers, and the bizarre weather patterns all over the world, and all the wars and rumors of wars, and plagues, etc., and the escalating tension between Russia, Turkey and Syria, setting the stage for Ezek 38 war.
I'm not sure which year it will be, but I'm of the opinion that the rapture of the church happens at the Last Trump, at the Feast That No One Knows the Day or Hour, the Feast that Jews believe the resurrection will happen, the Feast of Shouting , and the feast that is the Coronation of Kings - all of which is Feast of Trumpets, - the very next one that has yet to be fulfilled.
Paul said that the Feasts are a shadow of things to come, and we can expect that just as Christ fulfilled all the first four in perfect order, he will do the same with the last three.
