With the other nations pushing for this it is seeming that it will not matter what Abbas says. This will be agreed to and set the stage even further. Then the "deal" can be strengthened.
Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:
1396 gabar - strengthen, to be strong, mighty

Question from a dummy: has Israel accepted such an agreement previously, with this much international support?
What does this look like in the big picture?

It's my understanding that they have wanted negotiations, wanted a deal, but there has never been an agreement that either side liked. And no, not with this much support.

The Jordanians identifying as Palestinians reject the deal every time, so this one is no different EXCEPT for Oman, UAE, Bahrain, likely the Saudis, perhaps a few other Sunni countries are all in on this deal. With them on board it is likely the Jordanian Palestinians would have no choice but to accept it. In September pieces of the deal were leaked. One of those was "if Hamas attacks Israel, the US will respond and Hamas would cease to exist." Im not sure if that in there as i havent read it yet.

There was this past weekend a gathering of heads of Arab countries and they rejected the Trump deal. Nothing Trump proposes can succeed because he is the "black sheep" that is supposed to pave the way to the end times system which will contradict Trumpism. So I don't think the Trump peace deal is the covenant with many.

According to Paul Dawson, this deal does not need to be agreed on by the Arab coalition or the palestinians. What are your thoughts? There appears to be an air of 'threatening' that this is their last chance to deal.
as far as there not being a palestinian 'state', he is right, it would be similar to calling me a 'high plainsian' because I live on the high plains of the north American continent.
Philistia [N] =Palestine (q.v.), "the land of the Philistines" ( Psalms 60:8 ; 87:4 ; 108:9 ). The word is supposed to mean "the land of wanderers" or "of strangers."

I found this bit interesting -- "In contrast, Netanyahu’s opponent, Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz, reportedly said he would implement Trump’s Middle East peace plan only with international approval." " The Palestinians view the settlements in the West Bank and annexed east Jerusalem -- territories seized by Israel in the 1967 war -- as a major obstacle to peace. That stance is held by much of the international community, which views the settlements as illegal."
***This is why we hear the mainstream media use the term "Occupied Territories" meaning Israel is the oppressor occupying land that isn't theirs.
Just think about this and the implications. Gantz won't implement the plan - [won't annex the West Bank] without International support/approval.
The International community is overwhelmingly against it -rather, it Supports the Jordanian Arabs - (So-called Palestinians).
How might this play out, if Netanyahu is not re-elected, and Gantz wins. ?? Could he then, strengthen the treaty with many ?? Change or make this current one stronger?

m.jpost.com/Israel-Elections/Benjamin-Netanyahus-Right-bloc-wins-majority-exit-polls-619513 According to the article, Netanyahu has 60 seats in the Knesset and he needs 61 to form the government. It said that soldiers usually lean right and support Likud [Netanyahu's party] and their votes come in later so he most likely would pick up the extra seat. If the exit polls are accurate Netanyahu would sign the annexation- dividing Gods land. Of course, this is bad news/ good news. The prophetic implications are huge, and this coupled with the coronavirus. The Jordanian Arabs will certainly react/ riot/
