In this thread I am showing the speakers of the Book of Revelation and the central theme of each chapter (in my opinion).
Chapter 1
Rev. 1:1-7, John is the speaker
Rev. 1:8, Jesus is the speaker
Rev. 1:9-10, John is the speaker
Rev. 1:11, Jesus is the speaker (The central theme of the chapter is the instruction from Jesus to John that the revelation as referenced in Verse 1:1 is to be written as a book: The Book of Revelation)
Rev. 1:12-16, John is the speaker
Rev. 1:17, John and Jesus are the speakers
Rev. 1:18-20, Jesus is the speaker
Chapter 2
Rev. 2:1-29, Jesus is the speaker
Chapter 3
Rev. 3:1-22, Jesus is the speaker
Chapter 4
Rev. 4:1, John and Jesus are the speakers
Rev. 4:2-7, John is the speaker
Rev. 4:8, John and the four beasts are the speakers (The central theme of the chapter is to highlight the four individuals of Rev. 1:1)
Rev. 4:9-10, John is the speaker
Rev. 4:11, the twenty four elders are the speakers (?)
Chapter 5
Rev. 5:1, John is the speaker
Rev. 5:2, John and the angel are the speakers
Rev. 5:3-4, John is the speaker
Rev. 5:5, John and the angel are the speakers
Rev. 5:6-8, John is the speaker (The central theme of the chapter is that Lord Jesus is worthy to open the seals of the book: The Book of Revelation)
Rev. 5:9-10, John, the four beasts, and the twenty four elders are the speakers
Rev. 5:11, John is the speaker
Rev. 5:12-13, John and thousands singing are the speakers
Rev. 5:13, John and the four beasts are the speakers
Chapter 6
Rev. 6:1, John and the first beast are the speakers (Jesus opens the 1st seal and the first of the four beasts instructs John to "Come and see")
Rev. 6:2, John is the speaker (John sees the 1st seal)
Rev. 6:3, John and the second beast are the speakers (Jesus opens the 2nd seal and the second of the four beasts instructs John to "Come and see")
Rev. 6:4, John is the speaker (John sees the 2nd seal)
Rev. 6:5, John and the third beast are the speakers (Jesus opens the 3rd seal, and the third of the four beasts instructs John to "come and see")
Rev. 6:6, John and a voice (the Savior, in the midst of the four beasts) are the speakers (The central theme of this chapter are the words of warning from the Savior in Verse 6:6)
Rev. 6:7, John and the fourth beast are the speakers (Jesus opens the 4th seal, and the fourth beast instructs John to "come and see")
Rev. 6:8-9, John is the speaker (John sees the 4th seal, Jesus opens the 5th seal and John sees the 5th seal)
Rev. 6:10, John and the slain souls under the altar are the speakers
Rev. 6:11-15, John is the speaker (John continues viewing the 5th seal, Jesus opens the 6th seal and John sees the 6th seal)
Rev. 6:16-17, John and the hiding people of the earth are the speakers (John continues viewing the 6th seal)
Chapter 7
Rev. 7:1-2, John is the speaker (John sees four angels and then another angel that instructs the four angels)
Rev. 7:3, An angel is the speaker (the instructions from this angel to the four angels is to not hurt the earth, sea, or trees, until the 144,000 are sealed)
Rev. 7:4-9, John is the speaker (the 144,000 are sealed and the great multitude is gathered)
Rev. 7:10, John and the great multitude are the speakers (the great multitude says Salvation to our God and to the Lamb)
Rev. 7:11, John is the speaker (the angels fell before the throne similar to the 24 elders falling before the throne in Rev. 4:10)
Rev. 7:12, all the angels are the speakers (saying, Honor to our God...)
Rev. 7:13-14, John and an elder are the speakers (saying, Who are these of the great multitude?)
Rev. 7:15-17, the elder is the speaker (saying, The came out of great tribulation)
In Chapter 6 John was instructed to come and see as the six seals were opened by the Savior. Now in Chapter 7 John sees four angels that are prepared to hurt the earth, sea, and trees. The links from Chapter 7 to Chapter 6 indicates an overlap in which the central theme at Rev. 6:6 is "expanded upon" in Chapter 7 as follows:
Rev. 6:1-5 is to Rev. 7:1-3
Rev. 6:6 is to Rev. 7:4-12
Rev. 6:7-11 is to Rev. 7:13-17
The above links show that the destructive work of the four angels (as referenced in Rev. 7:1-3) begins during and after Rev. 6:12. In other words, the 6th seal reference in Verse 6:12 is quite limited to that verse, and, the 7th seal begins in Verse 6:12 which is expanded upon in Chapter 8. Thus, Rev. 6:12-17 corresponds to Chapter 8. From this is should be easy to see that Chapter 7 expands Verses 6:1-11 and Chapter 8 expands Verses 6:12-17. As stated, the 6th seal reference in Verse 6:12 is limited to just a few words. This information might become clearer as the speakers of Chapter 8 are explained.
Further, since The Book of Revelation is "written within" and "on the backside sealed with seven seals" (Rev. 5:1), then the second half of the book has seven seals that correspond directly to the seals in the first half of the book. That is, there are seven seals in the book as stated in the first half of the book, and corresponding to those seven seals are the seven seals in the second half of the book. Thus, the seven seals are stated twice in the book; once in the first half of the book and once in the second half of the book.
Additionally, Rev. 5:1 is a shadow of Rev. 1:1. Notice in Verse 5:1 that God has the book and in Verse 1:1 God has the revelation. Secondly, the angel as stated in a sister verse to Verse 1:1, Rev. 22:6, wherein the angel instructs John like the angel instructs John in Rev. 5:2. Third, since Rev. 22:6 is a sister verse to Rev. 1:1, and the angel is speaking to John followed by the Savior speaking in the next verse, Rev. 22:7, then Rev. 22:7 corresponds directly to Rev. 5:6-7. So what does this all mean? That Rev. 5:1-7 is the fulfillment of Rev. 1:1 wherein Jesus instructs his angel to show John the revelation and in Rev. 5:4 John is perplexed as to who can fulfill the requirements of that revelation. Of course Lord Jesus did fulfill the requirements of that revelation and will come quickly as stated in Rev. 22:7.
Chapter 8
Rev. 8:1-6, John is the speaker (Jesus opens the seventh seal and John sees the events that follow the 6th seal as referenced in Rev. 6:12)
Rev. 8:7-12, John is the speaker that explains the events following the soundings of the four angels
Rev. 8:13, John and the angel are the speakers (the first mention of the three woes)
Here in Chapter 8 we see the sounding of the four angels that were first mentioned in Rev. 7:1. Since the 144,000 and the great multitude of Chapter 7 begin linking to Chapter 6 at Rev. 6:6, then the four angels of Chapter 8 begin their work after Verse 6:6. Secondly, since all of Chapters 7 through 11 must fit into Chapter 6, then the three woes as referenced in Verse 8:13 must fit into Chapter 6.
So what was the 6th seal because it is not expanded upon in Chapter 6?. The sixth seal must be the first and second woes of Chapter 9 corresponding to the 6th seal reference at Verse 6:12, and the seventh seal must correspond to Verses 6:12-17. This analysis seems to indicate a placement of Chapter 10 near Verse 6:6 followed by a placement of Chapter 11 with the third woe beginning at Verse 6:12.

Rev. 1:8, Jesus is the speaker
