As some of you may have heard, there were several tornadoes in the Dallas area on Sunday night. The strongest of these hit blocks away from my house and several neighborhoods are devastated. The tornado knocked out power to our house and neighborhood and we are still without power... there is a possibility we may get power back tomorrow evening. Several churches were destroyed, too.

Please pray for those whose homes were destroyed and livelihoods/businesses destroyed.

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures." (1 Cor. 15:3–4)

Having seen the damage tornadoes can do, I know they can be so extremely devastating. I have a friend who lives there, but thankfully did not get hit. She showed a picture of their favorite bookstore that got hit.
