My cousin’s husband has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Surgery next week and we will know more after that.

Lord Jesus, we lift up tlwald" cousin's husband as he prepares for surgery. We pray for healing to the liver as you have created it to be a miraculous organ that has the ability to recover and be restored to good health. We pray for a successful surgery in which the cancer is easy to remove, hasn't spread throughout the whole liver, and that the cancer is contained in the liver and is not in other parts of the body. Please be with his wife and the rest of the family at this time. Let them lean on you and protect them from any other calamity that could arise while they are being the support for tlwald's cousin's husband. Thank you for being our protector and the one we can turn to in times of need and trouble. In Jesus name, Amen. |

I just wanted to update. Robert is very ill. There will be several meetings with doctors this week for test results and treatment options. Prayers for wisdom for the medical team. Prayers for my cousin and her husband as they make medical choices. Facing the possibility of losing your spouse is gut wrenching. Thankfully I believe they all know our Lord. Thank you for the prayers.

Update. Robert was sent home late this afternoon with hospice. He is unresponsive. Family was told he was terminal as he was too sick to withstand any aggressive treatment. Please keep my cousin and her girls in your prayers. Thank you.
