Yea, On my trip to Israel on the last day, I realized that I had not gone to the Temple Mount. So, I dressed up as an Arab and snuck in. on that day they were only letting Arabs on the Temple Mount. Well, I didn't know this but, there was some rumors that some cult was going to blow up the Dome. Lucky me, right? So, I got caught in only a few minutes, spent a few hours in the police station, checked out and released and kindly asked to leave the country. It was scary at first but then it became fun. They asked me questions about all these Temple Mount characters and to my astonishment I actual knew who they were talking about because of my interest in prophecy. So that was that.

Do you know that the Sanhedrin is already picked including the High Priest? BTW, I never said that the sacrifices are needed. They are not. "And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering." Dan 9:27
Sounds like sacrifices are needed.
First, is this future or past. I’ve heard both arguments. Secondly, are the sacrifices animal or spiritual? Then we can’t say it’s animal in the definitive. Honestly, it seems like some on this site want a temple built. That’s a horrible thing.

Hi reepicheep, I just noticed your link to that article about the year 71 in Israel. I could not keep but think about Ezekial 39:22, " From that day forward the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God." You know if GOD shows up and does what He says He is going to do, I think things will change in Israel. Don't you?

That's funny, sort of. It brings back memories. I was there in 1987 when I was in the military. We were given a tour of many sights. Old Jerusalem was awesome! All the small shops through the old city. Kids running up to us wanting to sell us postcards (I bought some). cobblestone streets that Christ himself walked! Church of the Sepulchre (tomb of Christ), Western Wall, Dome of the Rock. We actually got to go into that mosque and touch the rock (supposedly place where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac). There is a small set of steps that go partially under it. We had to take our shoes off. I'm not sure, but I don't think they let non-muslims in there anymore. Also got to go to Mount of Olives and the Church of All Nations. And the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem. You have to duck (bow down) to go into it, because the doorway was lowered. Too bad you didn't get to spend more time there. Just the history of that place is overwhelming.

Hi Bob, I'm quite sure something will change in the near future and fully agree with you!
I have visited Israel several times, recently only a few weeks ago and I sensed a hunger for their Messiah on the one side and on the other side I saw unimaginable abominations. My personal impression from connecting the political and geopolitical dots in the light of Bible prophecy (especially Ez 38, Isa 17) is that war will come pretty soon. This will clearly show Israel and the world who is the guard of Israel and many in Israel will see and believe, as the scripture states which you mentioned. And as I said before somehere in another post anywhere, I believe that a strong leader as BB is possibly an obstacle to God, because of Isaiah 48:11
Another interesting sidenote: During my recent visit in Israel Iearned from a woman who lives in Israel for about 20 yrs that many orthodox (!) rabbis (speaking of >400) are secretly studying the NT and many really believe that Jesus/Yeshua was/is their Messiah. In Jerusalem alone she knows 8 of them in person. I was stunned, because every orthodox/secular Jew I met was adamantly in his denying of Jesus as Messiah.
This clearly shows me that the time is ripe for a big change. After this change we will probably see which system of interpretation (if any) will prevail 😉 My guess is we all have to revise our models.
Only one thing is for sure: Jesus Christ is the Lord above all and He is the Son of God.
