A longtime friend of mine (since 1st grade) named Mike was diagnosed with throat cancer.
I came to find out that the tumor was successfully removed however doctors aren't certain if the cancer had spread. More tests coming soon.
This is especially sensitive for me as Mike's older brother passed from cancer 2 weeks after my older brother. They went to school together as well.
Father please let this not end in death, rather life eternal. Nevertheless not my will but Yours!
Help me to have the words, the right words that will pierce Mike's heart to bring him to You.

Since you know this, then peace in that knowledge is yours and a blessing to your friend. It is peace in the face of our trials and that peace comes from knowing Lord Jesus. Update - surgery was considered a success. The doctors removed many lymph nodes and found that only 4 we're cancerous. Prognosis looks very good.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you Jesus for prolonging Mike's life. May he come to know you intimately through this.

Update - I saw my friend a couple weeks ago and he is doing well. He is become sentimental and wants to see his friends more often. Pray that will happen and the Lord opens doors of opportunity for me to share truth.
