I ran across this article on 2/1/2019
www.forbes.com/sites/jamiecartereurope/2019/02/01/why-you-need-to-see-the-first-total-solar-eclipse-since-the-great-american-eclipse-in-just-150-days/#704a4ad5202e
A few things stuck out at me and inspired me to start a thread on Twitter which I will publish to the Thread Reader Page when finished.
The problem with Twitter is that you have to be creative with only 140 characters. I am going to convey much of what I am thinking here without the structure & confines of Twitter although the 1st 11 paragraphs are using almost all 140 characters which puts them in the 1% according to a recent study.
I also created some memes etc to go with the tweets so it will flow better once it is published.

February 1st 2019 is 150 Days Until The First Total Solar Eclipse Since The Great American Eclipse of 8/21/2017.
Several interesting things that I believe could be pointing towards something great & marvelous.
Solar Eclipse July 2, 2019
#TheBeginningIsNear
-----------------------------------
Western Argentina & north-central Chile will be treated to a view of a totally eclipsed sun rather low on the horizon just an hour or so before the sun sets for a 'double twilight'.
As "great & marvelous" as that may sound, let me expound on several things not mentioned above.
-----------------------------------
In Chile the path of totality just so happens to cross the Elqui Valley, 465 miles north of capital city Santiago
Over the border in Argentina, the region of San Juan is the 2nd grape & wine producing region in the country, producing reds like Syrah, Bonarda & Malbec
#Eclipse2019
-----------------------------------
Wine Valley
Elqui means 'narrow valley' in the local Quechua language, which perfectly sums up to local geography.
Vineyards there receive far higher levels of solar radiation than any European wine region, & this seems to translate into the wine style.
www.wine-searcher.com/regions-elqui+valley
-----------------------------------
Chie’s Elqui Valley is home to huge telescopes of the US operated Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO) & the European Southern Observatory (ESO) at La Silla, though only the latter is open to visitors on eclipse day.

The Exalting
#SolarEclipse
-----------------------------------
Totality for 2min 21sec - Observatório Cancana, Cochiguáz
Located in the top of Cerro Cancana near Cochiguáz
Cerro Cancana originates from the Aymara native language, meaning "Land of the Stars" It is located in the region of Andacollo, & only 54 km southeast of La Serena, Chile
-----------------------------------
The Solar Eclipse of 7/2/2019 has 3 minutes of totality over Oeno, a tiny atoll north of the Pitcairn Islands in the South Pacific.
Even more interesting is oeno- also oino- , word-forming element meaning "pertaining to wine," from comb. form of Greek Οἰνώ, oinos "wine"
-----------------------------------
Santiago, (also San Iago, San Tiago, Santyago, Sant-Yago, San Thiago) is a Spanish name that derives from the Hebrew name Jacob (Ya'akov) via Sant Iago, Sant Yago, Santo Iago, or Santo Yago, 1st used to denote Saint James the Great, the brother of John the Apostle
-----------------------------------
Pitcairn means 'portion abounding in cairns.'
The 'pit' part derives from 'pette' meaning portion, & cairn meaning a pile of stones.
Stones (cairns) were used as a Memorial to God for all to remember all that He had done.
There are 7 Memorials mentioned in the Book of Joshua.
------------------------------------
Joshua commanded the Israelites to build a memorial of stones as a public testimony of what God had done for them … stones that would remind them of His goodness.
The Literal Stone - Joshua 4:1-9
The Living Stones - Joshua 4:10-18
The Lasting Stones - Joshua 4:19-24
-----------------------------------
In Genesis 28 we find Jacob having his dream of the angels on the ladder, in which God confirms the Abrahamic Covenant to him. When he awakes, he erects a stone to mark the place where he met with God.
-----------------------------------
In Exodus 24 we learn that Moses set up 12 stones at the foot of Mt. Sinai to indicate where God covenanted with His people. Then in Joshua 4 we see God’s people setting up stones at the spot where they had crossed the Jordan River.
-----------------------------------
NOTES:
The Memorial of the Stones is sticking out to me because I just read the Book of Joshua & then a few weeks ago we started having a guest on Thursday night that was going through the Book of Joshua for 8-10 weeks.
But I think the real thing that should be sticking out to us all is the reoccurring theme of "wine"
There are two aspects of wine, its use and its abuse, its benefits and its curse, its acceptance in God’s sight and its abhorrence, are interwoven into the fabric of the OT.
It it may gladden the heart of man (Psalm 104:15)
or
cause his mind to err ( Isaiah 28:7)
it can be associated with merriment (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
or
it can be associated with anger (Isaiah 5:11)
it can be used to uncover the shame of Noah (Genesis 9:21)
or
in the hands of Melchizedek to honour Abraham (Genesis 14:18)

οἶνος, ου, ὁ οἴνου (oinou) — 7 Occurrences
6 occurrences related to wrath/fornication
οἴνῳ (oinō) — 4 Occurrences
4 occurrences related to drunkenness
οἶνον (oinon) — 19 Occurrences
mostly related to new wine
Revelation 6:6
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Is this eclipse pointing towards to the sign of Revelation 15?
Is this eclipse a warning of the impending events of Revelation 14?
There are several types of wine mentioned in scripture:
the wine of the wrath of her fornication (Revelation 14:8)
the wine of the wrath of God (Revelation 14:10)
the wine of the fierceness of His wrath (Revelation 16:19)
the wine of her fornication (Revelation 17:2)
the wine of the wrath of her fornication (Revelation 18:3)
Winepress:
Gethsemane
Γεθσημανῆ (Gethsēmani) — 2 Occurrences
of Hebrew origin gath and shemen
גַּת - gath: a wine\olive press
שֶׁמֶן – shemen : fat, oil
the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God (Revelation 19:15)
Wine-press
Consisted of two vats or receptacles, (1) a trough (Heb. gath, Gr. lenos) into which the grapes were thrown and where they were trodden upon and bruised ( Isaiah 16:10 ; Lamentations 1:15 ; Joel 3:13 ); and (2) a trough or vat (Heb. yekebh, Gr. hypolenion) into which the juice ran from the trough above, the gath ( Nehemiah 13:15 ; Job 24:11 ; Isaiah 63:2 Isaiah 63:3 ;Haggai 2:16 ; Joel 2:24 ). Wine-presses are found in almost every part of Palestine. They are "the only sure relics we have of the old days of Israel before the Captivity. Between Hebron and Beersheba they are found on all the hill slopes; they abound in southern Judea; they are no less common in the many valleys of Carmel; and they are numerous in Galilee." The "treading of the wine-press" is emblematic of divine judgment ( Isaiah 63:2 ; Lamentations 1:15 ; Revelation 14:19 Revelation 14:20 ).
Wine & Gethsemane
Luke 22:29-30
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luke 22:42-43
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Matthew 26:27-29
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
Matthew 26:36-39
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
