The other day some family members and I were discussing the afterlife. I tried to to explain that we need the blood of Jesus to be saved, but was blown off. (Whatever works for you they said). My cousin Chris seems to think if he is good in this life, he will go to heaven, which obviously isn't the case. I would like some help praying that he would come to the salvation we have recieved through our acceptance of Christ's Sacrifice.
I would also humbly ask for prayers for cousin Randy and my Uncle Shane who are currently going through Rehab programs. My Uncle in particular is struggling with alcohol, which leads him to harder worse things. I just can't help thinking what a great miracle and awesome testamony it would be if they came to salvation in Jesus and turned their lives around. Fortunately we serve The God of Miracles who can accomplish all things.
Prayers are much appreciated and if you would like prayers for a specific member of your family, please let me know. There is much power in prayer.

Of course I will pray for your family. It is so hard to see the hardness of heart even in those close to us. Sometimes God applies great pressure on people to help them see their spiritual emptiness. Tough love at work. Thank you for allowing us to help through prayer.

Fortunately we serve The God of Miracles who can accomplish all things. Prayers are much appreciated and if you would like prayers for a specific member of your family, please let me know. There is much power in prayer. It is hard for non believers to get their heads around the cleansing blood of the Savior. Yet, it is the central theme of the New Testament. For example in Rev. 1:5 wherein it states: "Unto him that loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood." It is that sacrifice of our God that saves us wherein he gave his life via the shedding of his blood. Thus, his holy life he gave for us and it is represented as the blood of Jesus. Thus, the blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of his life, saves us. That truth is not only for us but for your cousin as well. Our hope is that all souls will be saved from their sins. Non believers have no such comport but must rely upon their good works, that there is some justifying balance that is weighed to determine if they have done more good than evil. Who weighs this balance; who is the scorekeeper? They do not know. But, someone, somewhere, somehow, is keeping record of their good life and contrasts that against the evil that they might have done, or that they are better than what they might have been, or perhaps better than others. Yet, we know this false doctrine of Satan; to be good and not bow to the ridiculous concept of a blood atonement for sin. Yes, the good people of this earth know better because they are the moral majority; they know what is right and wrong. For example: they know that abortion is okay to preserve the life of the mother, that abortion is okay to put at rest the struggles of a less than perfect infant body, that abortion is okay if a pregnancy it is the result of rape or incest. Yes, they know these answers are correct because they are the majority pious and so good; yet having their hands full of the blood of the innocent. So, how can a good person who sanctions the killing of the unborn justify themselves? They being good killers of the unborn. Like, if the good are the killers of the unborn, then none who kill the unborn are bad. These are the good among us; the worst of the worst pious and clean. And the Savior states: "And when ye spread forth your hands I will hide mine eyes from you, Yea when ye make many prayers I will not hear, your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes, cease to do evil, learn to do well..." (Isa. 1:15-16). And how are they washed clean? By the atoning blood of Jesus Christ. My prayers are with you joecool.

Amen brother! God is able and does things we cannot fathom, even when we see them happen they can only be attributed to Him. I am astonished at His faithfulness to me and us. He will come through for you and your family

Father God,
I lift up our friend's cousin Chris to you. I pray that you would open his eyes to the truth of your Son. Bring him to a place of brokenness over his sin and strip away his pride that he may finally see the light and value of the gospel. Help him to recognize that your standard is perfection and no one is capable of meeting that standard. Soften his heart to the truth of your word. Please save him.
And I lift up our friend's cousin Randy and uncle Shane who are going through recovery programs. Give them the fortitude and commitment to stick through to the end. Bring them to complete repentance. Bring them into the light and use the darkness that has been in their lives to bring others into the light for your Kingdom and your glory.
Amen.
