Hi, long time lurker. I'm not sure if this is the right area, so apologies if it's not.
As we all know, before the 70th week is all over, the vast majority of Jews will migrate to Israel; but right now something like 1/3 of the world's Jewish population lives in the United States. I've been scratching my head trying to think of what might drive the Jews out of America, and a scenario occurred to me, and I wonder if anyone else thinks this has any merit.
The left in America is going insane. They are filled with a violent rage that seems only to increase. I think if this were any other time in history, the right would be majorly victorious as they appeal to the non-enraged, the Democrat leadership would realize their tent is shrinking far too quickly, and would clamp down on the radicals; we would then return to something like a status quo in a year or two as the radicals are talked down and generally run out of steam.
The violent left hasn't been particularly antisemitic up to this point, at least no more than the usual- certainly not enough to drive Jews out of America. But if the Church is raptured out during this time, it seems to me that would gut the Republican party. Suddenly the Democrats would be able to make big electoral gains, maybe even make major changes to the constitution.
Of course, it's possible that electoral ascendancy might cause them to calm down- they've won, so they have no reason to be angry. But righteous anger is addictive, and it's possible the rage machine won't be able to be contained, and it would simply look for new targets- and Jews have always been popular as targets.
