Here is a commentary on Revelation by E.W. Bullinger......

His opening (introduction) has several sections and very interesting viewpoints.....

I have not read everything as of yet, but I think I will continue reading.....

Bullinger has some really solid teaching. I agree with a great deal of his exegesis (just differing on his ambiguous identification of the elders and the claim that OT prophecy doesn't pertain to the Church). I think we're finding that all prophecy points to Christ, but the Church, as the body of Christ, is part of a lot of that prophecy (especially frequent mention of a group hidden before TDotL, a "cloud" around the Son of Man, the foolish nation with which God makes the Jews jealous, the corporate male child of Heavenly Zion, and passages speaking about Gentiles coming to faith).

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures." (1 Cor. 15:3–4)
