I would humbly ask for all of your prayers for a very close friend of mind, Ntheke. He started noticing a lump on the side of his throat a few weeks ago and the doctor thought it was suspicious (I felt the side of his neck myself and that thing was pretty big). He had surgery today to remove it and it was malignant cancer. Squamous cancer of the tonsil and throat. The surgery is over, but the family is really hurting and desperate for prayers. Chemo and radiation treatment will be coming up.
Please, please pray for Ntheke and family:
- For his complete, miraculous healing and recovery
- Peace and support from his wife and kids
- Abundant care and wisdom from all his doctors
- Dependence on God throughout this process
Thank you all, Gary

Gary,
I will include your friend in my prayers. I too have also had some friends who are recently battling or currently beginning their treatments. Cancer is definitely a challenging struggle.

Thank you all. He's home now and resting. It's been very trying on him. I can report some good news though: they did a complete CAT Scan and it doesn't look like the cancer had spread, but they need to move very quickly on chemo.
